This is an on going project. They have lovely displays of the area and it's residents and history. The basement is full of items that still need to be included in the displays. They have so much information on the area it's just amazing.

Interesting history of Grand Rapids and some locals featured, not only Judy Garland. There is a little gift shop, which is nice. Also bathroom facilities available. The museum is small and a visit won't take more than 30-45 minutes.

A must visit to view the very well done displays of the rich history of Itasca County or to research your family history. Entry is FREE. I keep going back as new displays are frequently added.
