We travelled to Buffalo State Park for some well deserved R&R! The park has 36 RV sites and at most there were maybe 12 booked, so very quiet. We stayed in site 34, which was shaded by trees for shelter from the blazing sun that week. The campground is very well kept and the staff were very helpful! We really enjoyed the pool, well I should say our 4 yr old really enjoyed the pool. We will never forget this place as my daughter rode her bike without training wheels for the first time!! What an accomplishment! All in all our visit/stay at Buffalo River State Park was A++

Spent the night here on our way home. The park includes a campground, some trails and a swimming area. During our stay, it was a hot, mosquito filled, mostly miserable place. The campground is in a nice spot by the river. The trails are just some mowed sections of grass. The swimming area looked to be more of a mud hole. The Minnesota State Park system should be praised, but this park is not one of their jewels.

Very nice Park. Nice swimming area and trails. If you want to camp there they fill up fast. There is a Golf Course just down the road as well.
