Berry picking with a view that cannot be beat. The staff is friendly and helpful and willing to answer questions about the berries, the goats, or offer recommendations about where to go in the region if you are not from the area. It gets hot out in the picking field, so plan on going early if the day is calling for hot temperatures, and bring a hat and plenty of water. They are open 7 days a week from 8am-6pm, and only close for severe weather, but it's better to call ahead if you are unsure due to rain.

This is the third year we've been picking at Monadnock Berries. What a great way to spend a half-day. Picking berriesin the sun with great views of Monadnock and the other mountains around Troy. They have a nice selection of berries including gooseberries and black and red currant. As a British berry afficionado I can tell you that these guys are hard to find in New England. Best time to go is early to mid-August when the blue berries are ready. Pick away, Yumlicious. They also have a little store with all kinds od berry goods and chocolate fudge. There are piunic tables, so bring your own. THere are goats , bunnies and donkeys for the kids to pet.

My girls and I always visit Monadnock Berries when we are up in New Hampshire. They have a lovely farm with wonderful berries. We always pick extra to take home to NJ.
