Was there with friends. Food was good. Been here many times for just dinner to company holiday party (which everyone loved) to the take out that they have. Which is great. All of the staff is just great here and very nice.

The shrimp appetizer was very tasty and it was huge - you could share with 2-4 people. The salmon was excellent. It's a cozy little bar/dining room with a TV. Service was pretty quick, and the staff seems eager to accommodate. We asked for a smaller portion of spaghetti for my 11 year-old son and they were quick to say yes and adjust the price of the meal according to portion size. They should add a children's menu, though. The fire alarm was being tested while we wer there during our second visit. It was extremely annoying and I developed a headache from it. The staff seemed pretty clueless about the fact that this was an extremely uncomfortable dining experience for paying customers. Eventually enough tables started complaining that they postponed the testing till later. Hopefully, they will be more attentive to the comfort of their guests in the future, because we did like their food.

Played the course on the weekend. This is a very fair layout that has some really tough holes.It's in very good shape except for the bunkers and we were able to finish in under 4 hours. The greens were fast and rolled true.The traps need to have the sand turned to overcome the concrete type surface that comes from not turning them deeply. Tough to get out accurately. The one downside was price. The round was $109 which seemed pricy for a course three miles from Penna. Staff very friendly and helpful. Overall a good experience other then the cost and the traps. Tough to find good public golf courses in the New York metro area and this is certainly one of them.

loved the service, food, drinks and atmosphere. Pricey is the only down side but they offer a very affordable take out dinner daily.

They have a interesting track out at Architects but for a daily fee course they should run it better. Many people drive a great distance to get there and expect a little more .We played on a beautiful Sunday in June. The putting green was closed. Not a great start if you are a real golfer you want to roll a few before the round. It took 3 hours to make the turn ( it had rained a lot the night before so cart paths only for first 9 understandable ). When we got to the area they set up for burgers and dogs around 1:00 they had no Hamburgers ready and ran out of rolls for the dogs .The beer was cold at least . They had one guy trying his best to run the grill collect the payments and take the orders ( on a Sunday yikes ) so the back up at 10 was .considerable . Because the track is interesting a may visit it again if I am headed out that way but I wont take a long drive ( 1hr 20 min ) just to play it .

Went here for a wedding in July. Wow this was like platinum weddings. The grounds are beautiful and the inside did not disappoint. The service seemed to be flawless and the food was great. Definitely recommended for any event!

The chef at Architects (Thyme Restaurant) does a really nice job. Try the crab cake, or the burger. Pulled pork sandwich is excellent. In the summer the outdoor seating makes for a beautiful view of the course with some excellent food to enhance the view.

Had a lot of fun on this course. Challenging, but not so much that I wouldn't want to go back. Thought it was well maintained. Liked that there was a beverage cart that drove around in case we were thirsty.

My friends and I went here for a happy hour in August. Good drinks and great appetizers.. It was too hot to sit outside but there is nice covered area for that. Inside is very nice. Service was great. Check out the website they have different special daily

Great course, all around a good place for a day of golf. Reminds me of the courses in the UK.

We recently got married at Architect's and were so incredibly pleased we chose this location. The simple elegance of the ballroom lends itself to the unbelievable panoramic views through the back windows. From start to finish the level of service was amazing. We still get compliments today about the food and atmosphere!! The staff leading up to and during the wedding were simply amazing. Every wish we had they granted and really went above and beyond to ensure that our day went off without a hitch. I highly recommend Architect's not only for dinner but any type of event you may be looking to host. The outdoor patio is breath taking and in the colder months the ballroom or downstairs areas are beautiful. Truly just a wonderful place that isn't about the money but about the people and food. We still go back for dinner despite the lengthy drive!!
