Park is closed except for crabbing. Its 2 years since Sandy, and still not fixed!!! What a shame!!Fenced off piles of debris.

Everything was washed away, and they're using it as a debris site for things drudged up from the bay. The Point is closed until further notice :(

A little banged up from Sandy but the locals still come to crab and fish and that says a lot! Friendly people everywhere!

It pains me to write this review, I've been a big fan of the park for over 40 years, took the kids there many times growing up. The park has bee closed since Huricane Sandy devastated this area. The county has not bothered to put up signs informing people that the park is closed. There using it to stockpile material dredged from Barnegat Bay, also a result of Sandy. The parking area just before the park on Cedar Creek is open, but NO access beyond the bridge. At this time I have not heard any time line for it's reopening. It's truly a shame I live nearby and miss visiting this park and crabbing from the bulkhead, or just enjoying a leisurely walk around the perimeter.

For a local - township park - it doesn't get better. Beach, crabbing, fishing, and tons of parking. Great spot to picnic with the family for free.

My friend and I visited Berkeley Island State Park.As seniors. it was a truly delightful day spent just relaxing on the beach. we picnicked, admired the beautiful views and clean, clean surroundings. Great place to relax, fish and just have a peaceful day at the beach. I am proud to be an Ocean County resident with all this wonder in Bayville..thanks NJI would recommend this for families and couples..

Beautiful park on the Barnegat Bay. with grassy ,beach ,picnic and playground areas. Great for fisherman also.

Beautiful views of Barnegat Bay and Island Beach State Park from this well kept County Park... there is a Pier for fishing, a Free Boat Ramp and adequate Parking for visitors... Nice Picnic Areas as well! Ocean County maintains their Parks immaculately.. We're so Proud to live here!

One of the most beautiful beaches in NJ. Wonderful for the family and great fishing. Nature paths and small museum on site. Beautiful clean, clear water surrounds.
