I always visit San Felipe when I'm back in town... i was married there over 20 yrs ago and of course it holds many memories! Beautiful, historic church that is the highlight of a visit to Old Town. Well worth a stop by...

Loved this Church! Historic and beautiful. Right dab in the middle of some lovely shops and places to eat. Great park and places to sit and take in the sounds and sights. You should stop by and grab a bench and just relax.

If you love historic churches- this is the place for you. Please, when visiting, remember, it is a church. They still hold mass there, they still marry em n bury em.... even if you are not a believer, please respect the venue.

This church is really beautiful against the brilliant blue sky of New Mexico. The front door is unlocked and you can go in and look around - no charge. The perfect meeting place since everyone knows where it is. Be sure and remember to bring you camera!

The San Felipe de Neri Chuch in the center of the Old Town Albuquerque is welcoming, historical, clean, and neat. Although I am not Catholic, In fact I am Jewish, the Church was very welcoming, friendly, and kind. I felt very comfortable exploring the church, Besides a parish, and school, there is a Gift Shop and Museum. The Church is very well maintained, and is going though renovation currently, Gasparri Chapel This Church land mark was built in 1793, is one of the oldest surviving buildings in the Old Town Albuquerque. Trip was with my Mother to New Mexico, no children, 05/2015. no children, no category below.

This is the "cornerstone" of the Old Town center. Very old and lovely building both inside and outside. Wonderful to read of its history prior to going.

We liked the sculptures outside more than anything. The museum was very clean and well organized. Staff were also very friendly and helpful.

You enter this from the Old Town square and it suddenly becomes very quiet and calming. What a lovely church with an enduring history and place in Old Town and New Mexico. Take a few minutes to spend here.

Center of of Old Town which is free and a quiet place for reflection or prayer. Very nice architecture is well worth the 15 or so minute pause from all the commercialism in the area

Nice place to stop and take in a little history of Albuquerque. The church is located on the square in the Old Town section of the city. There are shops around the old square that sell some fantastic jewelry and the perquisite t-shirts. Look in at the church, walk around the inside and admire the altar. The church is 200 years old and has been renovated several times, so it is in perfect condition.

Right on the Old Town square. Many wonderful sights and shops to wander through. You may recognize some of it from movies (Wild Hogs) and some TV shows that are filmed there.

I discovered this little gem while out for a morning walk from a local hotel. It is a traditional Spanish Catholic Church. It reminds me a lot of the missions in California.

This is an absolutely stunning church. Beautiful inside and out. There is no charge to go in and see the beautiful inside. The outside is just gorgeous. It is worth it to stop and visit this church. Take a few minutes to walk around it and even sit inside for a bit. It was really peaceful.

The church and courtyard were beautiful!! Great history also, I really liked learning about it. It was a little awkward though to be there as a tourist (looking around, taking pics, etc) when there were people there praying. Maybe I'm just too self-conscious since it is an attraction, but it's also a church--so be prepared to be very respectful and quiet!!
