I visited this church in Sunday Mass- it's amazingly beautiful and really enjoyed the service. It's located beside the Drury Plaza Hotel- within a 100 yrds walking. Adjoining is a small city park, that was beautiful.

What a lovely cathedral, lots of ornaments, yet not to showy. Very light and with beautiful glass-in-lead windows. They also inhabit the oldes statue of Mary in the USA and it’s very impressive. Beautiful paintings of the crossway of Christ, I liked the way of drawing, simple and serene.

This isn't an especially interesting church architecturally, but it is a central part of the city's history and culture and deserves a visit. It sits a couple of blocks off the main plaza and is adjoined by a pretty park with plenty of benches for sitting.

The cathedral is a holy place and while they welcome guests to visit it is always good to be respectful of the church and the catholic community in Santa Fe. The masses are very traditional and you can tell who went to Ash Wednesday as they bare the mark given them by the priest. Fabulous stained windows and the grounds are not to be missed. on

Parking only available in paid parking, and lots fill quickly. Even Mass attendees must pay to park. Locals are friendly and Saturday night dress for Mass is informal. Beautiful architecture is difficult to see from the back, and columns hid most of our view from the back right hand side. Lovely courtyard is worth coming early to see, and includes some sculptures. Within walking distance to Loretto Chapel and San Miguel church.

Beautiful exterior and interior with its stain glass windows and arches in the ceiling. Worth the visit if you are in downtown Santa Fe.

This is a beautiful cathedral. From the holy water font to the stations, the statuary, many chapels, and general architecture, it really does help focus the mind on higher things. The (Franciscan, of course) monk that I asked many questions of was very helpful and knowledgeable. If you want the Catholic experience then definitely visit. Stop by the very good gift shop, too!

This is a great church to visit. St. Francis of Assisi is one of my favorite St.s. His prayer is full of wisdom and hope. Don't miss it.

It is worth stopping in here. We wanted to go to Spanish mass on Sunday at 8 am but missed it. The church is just beautiful.

This is a lovely church. Upon entering you will be provided with a brochure that helps explain what you are seeing. There is no admission fee, but donations are accepted. Be sure to see the stations of the cross in the garden outside.

If you have an extra 15 minutes you won't be disappointed walking the beautiful stone path in front of the church!

A good break from an overwhelmingly adobe skyline of Santa Fe. Simple but elegant Romanesque architecture with mission feel inside- reredos, stations of the cross, chapels and all.

The cathedral was well illuminated and welcoming. The recently restored stained glass window were worth a visit on their own especially if the sun is shining. The cathedral shop had some interesting books.

Probably the only real cathedral in New Mexico. Huge, beautifully done and in a fantastic location at the end of the street going to the plaze. The stained glass windows are amazing, especially the rose window at the back. We saw the most amazing performance of Monteverdi Vespers by the Desert Chorale there for the 400th anniversary of Santa Fe and the Vespers.

Beautiful architecture in a French Romanesque style I've not often seen stateside. Don't miss the chapel to the left side of the altar, which is the oldest part of the cathedral and has a beautiful timber ceiling, an extraordinary crucifix, a large historic painting, and the oldest Madonna in America.
