so glad I stopped in! It is full of fantastic art from so many talented individuals as well as antiques and good people.

I highly recommend Art Obscura to anyone passing through or living in Las Cruces. Every time I visit there's some new antique or collectable with an interesting back story to ogle in this sparkling clean store. Make conversation with Deret, the owner, and he just might have something not on display you might like more. Better yet, he'll keep an eye out while he's looking for treasures for something just for yourself. With every visit he shows me something new that I want cause he knows what I'm into. In addition to vintage portion of his establishment there's the gallery/art aspect. The work is coming from locals and is often overlooked until now. Thanks to Art Obscura the next generation of artists from the area can shine.

Each visit to Art Obscura I notice something I missed the last time: from electric landscape paintings to cheeky buttons and magnets, this store is FUN! The best part is the way the old and new are paired side by side: carefully curated collectibles from years past right next to the freshest, never-before-seen art made by emerging professional artists. When you go, don't forget to go upstairs for even more art and antiques!

Off the beaten path but so worth the trip. Lots of cool art. And very neat antiques. Deret ( owner) is very personable and creative. This place is a very good addition to the art scene in Las Cruces New Mexico.

This is a great gallery with constantly rotating local art. There are many artists and galleries in the area, but Art Obscure has a great mix of traditional and funky type pieces. It reminds of galleries in Portland,OR.

i really like this gallery because it is full of LOCAL art. i've gone back to this gallery a handful of times. Always new art to check out. Always awesome! This gallery even hosts local musicians from time to time, and hosts fun openings to large, new bodies of artwork. The owners are super helpful and friendly. definitely worth going back!

Perfect place to go to if you want to look at some affordable local art! So easy to find a gift for a friend or loved one too, there's jewelry, magnets, and beautiful wall hangings! It's also fun to just go with a friend if you have some time to kill. There's always new things every time I go in, it never gets boring. It's great that Las Cruces has another venue to show off local talent, (that you can actually purchase too-with reasonable prices). I love it!
