从signal mountain下来就是jackson lake了，一个绕也绕不开的巨大的湖。湖面很平静看得到moran雪山的倒影。季节对头的时候可以乘船一游。jackson lake周边有很多住宿和露营的地方，也有大提顿里第二大的访客中心。从北边黄石过来的游客基本自此进入大提顿，而从南边过来的游客基本就游完大提顿准备进黄石了。

Our daughter treated us to a Guided Fishing Trip on Jackson Lake. It was a cold day but still a spectacular day on the lake, we caught many Lake Trout.

Went from the Jackson Lake Dam and floated to Pacific Creek. Heard elk bugling on both sides of us. Fishing was great. We were followed by a family of 6 river otters who were quite active. They caught fish, played in the water and along the bank and actually followed our boat. Saw many bald eagles and ospreys. Caught and released several cutthroat trout.

Lots of good photo spots for the photographer and lots of picnic areas for the entire family. Stop at the Colter Bay Village for needed food and supplies. We were told there is a great Visitor's Center there but the crowd was so large the day we were there that we could not even enter the building. The staff at the various visitor's stores were friendly and welcoming. They also can give you good advice on places to take the kids and what to do in the area.

we stayed in a cabin for two nights it was cozy and clean with all amenities tastefully furnished. the lodge served meals that were quite good . the staff were all great. beautiful sunsets over lake jackson

nice glacier lake created for irrigation for the Idaho potato farmerthat the famous Snake River has steady flow for world class fly fishing doesn't hurt either - that's why the dam - good fishing just below You can ski, fish, sun, camp on an island etc.a few picnic areas and camping spot around lake

Coulter Bay has two walks 1)to Hermatage Point that goes by Swan Lake (home of some Trumpeter Swans, maybe a Blue Heron and 2) the short shore walk out from the north side of the Visitors Center. Both are spectacular, worth every minute and give you an up close and personal look at the lake. The Grand View peak in back of Jackson Lake Lodge rewards you for a 40 minute gradual hike to a point to see the lake from a distance which has its own beauty.

Sunny days are spectacular at Jackson Lake because the Tetons are so fabulously reflected in the lake. Take your camera, and take your time. Walk a nearby trail, stop to see Jackson Lake Lodge, walk up Lunch Tree Hill behind the lodge, and enjoy the day. We liked staying at Signal Mountain Lodge so that we could enjoy views of the lake each morning and evening -- lovely!

Many classic Teton pictures are taken across the lake. I also saw my first White Pelican on the lake. I did not know there were fresh water pelicans. You can also take a dinner cruise, sign up at Jackson Lake Lodge or rent various boats from Signal Mountain Lodge. They also both have restaurants and pubs.

I come from Colorado and love the San Juan mountains but these are unbelievable. They are mesmerizing. So many trails , lakes waterfalls and things to see. May be a small park but so worth it.

Natural beauty. Not to be missed. All guides and interpreters were very knowledgable. Sense go peace is incredible

My family and I enjoyed the beauty surrounding us while taking a boat trip on Jackson Lake. We sat outside on the back of the boat to get a real good view, unfortunately if you do decide to sit in the back you won't be able to hear the tour guide and my get a headache from the diesel fumes. If I was to take a trip on Jackson Lake, the next time it would be in a kayak or canoe.

We rented a runabout for 2 hours, and the views on Jackson Lake are terrific. Saw two bald eagles and had a chance to dock at one of the islands for a swim. A highly recommended experience and then had the outdoor BBQ buffet at Jackson Lodge next to the swimming pool. It was a great experience.

My husband and I drove from the North end of the lake to the South end. Every single stop we made, we got a better and better view. This lake is simply breathtaking with the mountain range in the background. I highly recommend making every stop you can to get different views of the lake. Each view is different and more stunning than the next.

Great location for canoeing...enjoy the peaks from water level. Standing up paddle is okay, if not too windy.
