Wife and I brought our furry boy here so he could run, jump, and play with others of his kind. (He's an only child.) The facility is nice, but the many of the patrons do not control their animals. Packs of dogs literally form and chase (terrorize) other dogs. Some people just drop their dog off like it's a daycare center, too. It's frustrating. We've since quit going.

Took my puppy who loves to socialize, and there was plenty of room for her to romp and play. Nice location!

My mom loves to take her pug here. She said it is very clean and there is plenty of room to run around.

Nothing better to get the energy out than running the park. Open grass and wooded trails all fenced in. Seperate small/large breed areas.

I really like taking my small Shih Tzu here. They have two enclosures, one for small breeds, one for large. There are plenty of trees for the dogs to run through, benches for owners to sit, water troughs for the dogs, and numerous 'sanitary stations' providing bags to pick up after your dogs.

Great enclosed dog park. It is separated for large dogs and small dogs and there are benches, trails, and water fountains. There is lots of space to let your pet off the leash to socialize and run until he is tired! We go at least 3 times a week.

This is a fabulous spot to take in free music during their free outdoor concert series. They do a Spring/Summer one and a Fall one. They have good acts and it's super family friendly! You can bring food & drinks to save on food or purchase from a couple food trucks that park nearby. (donations accepted!)

This dog park is large enough where they can run like mad. There is a section for large dogs and small dogs. There are water fountains and benches. The first time that I took my two golden retriever, met a couple that have a St Bernard.OMG! I knew that St Bernard were big but I did not realize how BIG!After several minutes the two retriever and the St Bernard were like best of buds running all over the place. One point did not see the dogs, the couple mention that there is a trail near the back. From what I hear, weekends are the busiest time and bring your chair.

We had been waiting awhile before getting a dog park and finally it arrived. Fortunately this one was well thought out compared to the other dog parks around. The park has fairly decent parking and is adjacent to the Arlington Dog shelter. Even on saturdays (their busiest time) there have been parking spaces, but it has been close. The park, which is at one end of a very long Cravens park hike/bike trail (for those who want more exercise) has two fenced sections, one for big dogs and one for little. The big dog section always seems to be the busiest. (Lots of Labs and Retrievers running after balls). The fence has a 2-gate system, so that dogs don't get out unless you intentionally let them out. Both sections have big people and furry people water fountains. There are several benches, very nice thick grass and a small patch of woods in the back for dogs to run through on the mulched paths trying to chase small rodents (though no self-respecting squirrel would dare venture in those oak trees.) The woods are a blessing on very hot days, which puts it head and shoulders about the Fort Woof/Beach street park. After it rains, however, the path around the edge of the woods can get muddy.Everyone is expected to pickup after their dogs (bags and trash cans provided), and not bring any aggressive dogs into the park (as per the posted sign), and not leave their dogs there (beware: notice the coyote skat on the other side of the dog fence. Never have seen one, but don't leave your dog unattended.). The dogs have a hay-day chasing each other and if you bring a bucket of tennis balls, every dog in the place will compete in a fetch-a-thon. (which is pretty amusing to watch). Detractions would be limited places for humans to sit (so people bring their chairs or stand and talk while they monitor their kids playing). During the week, there is a bathroom in the animal shelter, but not when it is closed. There is a 7-11 and several fast food places on Green Oaks as you drive there. There is no food or drinks (other than water) there. For me, the other detraction is location, which is 20 minutes from me. I would like to have a duplicate version of this dog park on my side of town.

The park is separated into large and small dog areas, which is great. They provide water fountains for the dogs, benches, and plenty of bag and disposal sites for doggie "bombs".

Very nice dog park. The park has a couple of trails and everyone there was very courteous with their dogs. Nice open area to run in.

Big dog park. Has 2 sides for large and small dogs. Mostly friendly pet parents. Has back wooded area with trail. Not a ton of grass so it does get super muddy after rain.
