They only take cash. I don't have anything else to say because I didn't have the cash to go in but I'm required to write 100 characters. It did look cool, though.

This house is beautiful and the information you get while there is unprecedented. The grounds are well kept and the history is fascinating! A must see......

This is a nice afternoon diversion for lovers of old homes or history. The home has been well cared for and one will have an easy time imagining what it might have been like to live there in years past. I recommend this for an impromptu outing.

It was a house in Texas, I guess it was just too hot that day to enjoy much of anything. Fifty words required so I guess that should about do it then.

This 130+ year old victorian mansion is an amazing hidden gem in Tyler. The history behind it will surprise you. Yes, it was the birth place of Sarah McClendon but it was also the center of many happenings that made Tyler grow. The living history tours are top notch and the murder mysteries are a hoot. The night of Jazz music in November was phenomenal and the arts and crafts faire was great! Definitely put this place on your list of stops.

This historic home is well kept and offers a venue unlike any other in the area. It was built in the 1800's and is quite Victorian. It is well furnished but not stuffy. It is a great place for a small gathering-probably less than 50-60 maximum. The grounds are nice and the outdoor porch offers yet another place gather. They also offer tours on Friday and Saturdays. Visit the McClendon House-you will not regret it.
