One doesn't get all the elevation differentials in two shots like on the East Trail, and the terrain is much more remote and beautiful in its own sense, much of the trail is hiking in dry creekbeds. This is hard enough to do when the creeks are dry, but I found myself wondering what it would be like when the creek is active?

Good for exercises, but we did not find many spots we could view around. Some large rocks were not stable. Watch you steps when you hike there. Some rocks with moss can be slippery.

Wear good hiking shoes/boots. This is not for people who are out of shape and have health issues. I'm not in that great of shape and there were times I wanted to turn around and go back. But, I'm so glad I continued one. We started clockwise on the trail.
