Free to enter by foot or bike, fee for cars and trucks. Plenty of room for picnicing, beach, etc. I love the shoreline trail for biking & hiking too; winds along the lakeshore and through the woods for about 4 miles!

Stewart Creek Park is blocks from our home on Lake Lewisville. It's great for day trips or overnight camping. Great for dog walking, running, biking, fishing, boating. Beautiful setting on the lake. It's well maintained.

Ok, I lived in The Colony for a little over two years. First of all, My family and I decided to move to the area because my wife accepted a job at Baylor/Downtown Dallas. We were moving from Oklahoma to Dallas and settled in The Colony because we heard the scholls were good and my wife is somewhat of a freak when it comes to Public educmacation :) Anyway, we moved to The Colony, Stewie Creek area. We are not High Rollers but there are many in this neighborhood who appear that way and are not shy about showing it. You know the ones, the Phony high class people who bend their pinky whilist drinking a mamosa. I'm not going to bash the place as much as I could so I'll move on.The park is OK. The only thing really good about it is the docks are pretty nice and the huge circular circumfrance of the park is pretty cool. I used to walk my Great Dane Around it daily and he loved it. The smells are good in the fall and winter but pretty fishy in the summer which is to be expected but it still stinks. The huge garbage bins are picked up once a week and they stink too. As expeceted. However the funk does seem to drift over to the high rollers and they hate it. Watch out for the Idiot Texas speeders around their. I lived in the corner house of Pecan Xring and it was pretty horrible. I can say the location because Stewie Creek Park was within walking distance of my overpriced abode. Do yourself a favor. Go to Houston. Friendly people, better parks and better atmosphere.

This park along the shores of Lewisville Lake offers a boat ramp, camping, fishing, designated swimming area, picnic areas, RV parking and more. I come through on a weekly basis either on foot or by car. The city puts on some of its annual events here so it can really draw a crowd.I often come here to have lunch or to walk my dog. I love the fresh air and nice view. The park has restroom facilities and the local police department drives through daily so it always feels safe. I've been here alone in the dark walking my dog and never felt worried. There is a fee to get in by car but if you come often, the annual pass saves you some $.
