Great place, great owners and lots of good information. Well worth the trip and loved the moonshine. Spend a little time taking it all in.

Cool small town. Easy to find. Not far from hwy 71. Very good vodka. Even better Gin. Moonshine is tasty. Corn whiskey is exceptional but sip it slowly. Bourbon coming later this year. Owner there to talk you though each sample. Samples are free unlike other places. Be sure to take a couple bottles home!

Sooooo Cool...we saw the billboard on the highway & glad we exited!!! A small operation but BIG on taste, flavor & hospitality!!! We sampled all 4 products...vodka..."no mixing required " prefect on the rocks!!! Gin...were not gin drinkers... but wow...a smooth, citrus flavor! Corn Whiskey...100% corn, nothing else...beautiful color from oak barrels! Moon Shine..."smooth shine"!!! All ingredients r naturally sourced & no artificial anything is added!! Very cool tasting room...and reasonable priced bottles. We had the owner & distiller autograph our bottles.

Our B&B recommended this place & we were pleasantly surprised. We live right in between Deep Eddy & Dripping Springs Vodka distilleries so I thought I had been there seen that! But I was wrong!!!This was the most fun informative & entertaining tasting I have ever had!I thought I hated Gin until I tasted this. And am now a 100% Smiths vodka lover. Their whiskey & moonshine are pretty darn good too! Their cocktails honestly ROCK!!We so enjoyed talking with the owner & hearing his & the distillery story. We will be back for sure!!

Boutique distillery producing fine gin,vodka,moonshine and corn whiskey. Came here as we liked their Moody June gin,which is relatively hard to find in our area and came home with a bottle each of all their offerings. Their vodka is especially smooth and I look forward to more of their "aged" gin!

A great adventure a little off the beaten path. The owner was very knowledgable,welcoming and accommodating to this amateur spirit taster. It is the only true alcohol distillery in Texas, other places truck their alcohol in. This place does it all...mash,distill and age their product.Would highly recommend a visit to the Bone Spirit Distillery !!!!

Smithville has a true gem on their hands with the Bone brand right in the heart of this sleepy little town. The small distillery was an afternoon activity for us as we were interested in their sampling of vodka, gin, moonshine and whiskey. The owner was funny, informative and passionate about their distillery's process and the upstairs tasting room was lovingly fashioned by him as well. He made the bar, benches and light fixtures! We loved the gin and purchased a bottle of the moonshine after a tasting of his peach moonshine cocktail. Can I get a yee-haw?!? Great time, great booze.
