The powered parachute pilot, Dave, is an expert in his field and provided an amazing experience. He went over the whole pre-flight check with me, explained how the take-off would occur, what we would do in flight, and how the landing would work. He asked if there were any questions, and made me feel totally at ease. I have scheduled several flights. Each flight was about an hour on a two seat powered parachute. First flight we flew all around the Lake Lavon area. Second flight was towards Allen and a little area on the West side of Highway 75. We stayed mostly around 800 to 1,000 feet. Occasionally, the pilot took us very close to the ground in certain areas. Even shutting the engine off and just gliding towards the ground and then starting the engine again and taking us back up. This was one of the most thrilling thing I have ever done.
