Every time we visit this part of Texas, we enjoy paying a stop to Paris Town Square and all the little shops and some of the restaurants in this area. The town square is a very nice place to kick back and do some people watching or bring a book and enjoy the big ole Texas sunshine... or maybe even strike up a conversation with some of the older locals. I love looking at the old buildings and trying to imagine an older, more innocent America.

The buildings around the square and beyond present a stunning collection of architectural styles. No cost was spared when these buildings originally went up. Wonderful place.

We came to find the Eiffel tower but we found a big fountain just in the middle of the town square. it's nice to see it.

There is a large fountain on the square that is pretty. The shops around the square are pretty run down which is sad because it's a very old town with a lot of character but not maintained.

If your going to Paris Texas to see the replica Tower, drop by the town square, sure its seen better days, but there a some nice little thrift shops.

We enjoyed our walk around the town. Unfortunately, the Chamber of Commerce office was closed - it was a Saturday. It is a very quaint little town.

I enjoyed walking around the Paris town square. The 1927 Culbertson Fountain was a gift to the city, celebrating 10 years recovery from the fire which destroyed most of the downtown area in 1916. The buildings around the square are almost all from the 1916-1917 period and many have historical markers on the front. I was also interested in the before and after pictures and history of the fire posted in a number of store front windows. Lots of places to shop and a number of local restaurants on or near the square. First stop should be the Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center on the square. They are housed in a very nice local art gallery and you can enjoy the paintings, photography, handmade furniture and ceramics in the gallery after you visit with the great staff of the visitors center. An active and growing town center and a must stop in Paris.

Loved the town square and the fountain was just beautiful. The Chamber of Commerce was right there on the square and really helpful

Historic fountain is a focal point for the square and local kids have taken prom pics there for as long as anyone can remember. There are Fridays in warm weather where classic car enthusiasts gather around the square and shops are open late to look through. Downtown as a whole is really starting to shape up and be a fun happening place.

I was looking for the more traditional town square with a court house. This is more like a park plaza in the middle of town.I did not even stop and take a [picture as I did not find it all that interesting. This is a drive around, take a look attraction and drive on.

Great little town square. Reminds me of the one in Denton, TX. Music playing over outdoor speakers. Restaurants and shops are in walking distance-including Paris bakery. Would recommend for anyone passing through to check it out.

The town square is just waiting for something magical to happen. There were many empty shops and it felt quite neglected.

Lo poco que hay para ver en París está aquí (exceptuando la "torre Eiffel")Es la típica plaza americana con su cine, restaurantes, tiendas de toda la vida... Como la de la película "Regreso al futuro" pero sin reloj!
