We love the AMC, great for date night. The cinema suite with the recliners is a great way to see a movie after having dinner. Dinner is not 5 star but it is good. Word of warning. AMC has a policy to allow small children in an R rated movie before 5pm. We did have one experience with a crying baby and a wandering toddler during a horror movie. Manager offered free tickets, we declined but appreciated the thought!

They just spent a lot of money to make this a better movie going experience, well they wasted a whole lot of money. From the very start buying the tickets through through the movie it was a disaster. First you wait in line in the freezing cold while they only have one window open yet there are two people standing around doing nothing. When you buy your ticket they try to sell you a discount card which takes time then you are supposed to pick a seat before you get your ticket. You know how that goes" where do you want to sit? I don't know where do you want to sit? That's to close, that's to far" on and on. Then when you get in the theater it's half empty so why all the fuss! The movie was 45 minutes late starting, several people went out to complain but no one seemed to care. Trying to get a drink and popcorn was even worse. The kids moved at the slowest speed they could and spent more time talking to each other than to the customers. Once I got to place an order for a drink and popcorn it took 8 minutes to fill the order, should have been 2 at the most, but by the time you talked to a friend walking by the time adds up. For the prices we pay to see movies and for concessions you would think they would try harder. The days of the movie theaters are numbered and this theater is doing it"s best to hurry it's demise along.
