Food is good, employees are friendly and it's a beautiful place. Night golf, friendly cart girls and awesome food.

They have been great for us hosting our annual 3 day tournament (about 15-20 players) most of traveling from out of town. The layout is great, first few holes set you up, remaining holes are much more of a challenge. Carts come with gps, grill offers some great food, amazing breakfast burritos and hamburgers, cart girls make rounds regularly, all of the staff is very nice.

Mansfield National is worth the drive. The location, just off Hwy 360 is convenient. The course is, for the most part, open and not extremely harsh to those drives just off the fairway. The greens are nice size and receptive to your approach shots. The staff are friendly and the course is always in very good shape. I would recommend the drive to Mansfield National. Heck, bring the kiddo and drop them off at Hawaiin Falls while you golf.

Like the layout of this course, resonably priced, carts come with a GPS. My husband is more experienced than I am but we both enjoy the course, it has a good mix of challenging holes and "easy ones". They have carts that come around selling drinks and snacks.

Nice club, with a good layout. Not much water per say, but lots of nice views, houses, and the greens are great. It is a bit slow some days, and it is hot! But hey its Texas, and the wind usually blows. Try it in the morning during the week, if you can. Saturdays the ppl get a bit snippy, and the rich guys complain about everything. Still a nice place to play for North Texas.

Nice municipal golf course. Nice layout. When its in good shape lots of fun to play. You get a good mix of holes that challenge your shot making but you can post some low scores.Only problem is it is a little over played and play is often very slow.

I've never had a bad experience at this course. A little windy, but that's sometimes a good thing in the Texas heat. Great greens in 2013. Perfect course when playing with a group of newer players AND more experienced players. (Great balance between the two)

The course is in only fair shape. The greens are very good but the fairways are hard pan in many areas. We played on a Sunday morning and the pace was grindingly slow (4 hours, 45 minutes). There are no marshals on the course to try to control play. We play various courses in DFW on Sunday mornings and this pace was, by far, the worst. Just not much fun like this.
