My adult son and I needed to go to the Dallas area for something and decided to check out a gun range while there. We live a couple of hours away in a city that barely has an outdoor range so we don't get to practice much. Eagle was easy to find and there was ample parking. Upon entering I was impressed with the cleanliness of the place and the friendliness of the staff who greeted us. As a woman there are times I have felt intimidated at a range, but I never felt that way here. There is an attendant on duty at the lanes which I also appreciated. We had a great experience and will definitely return!!!

Weather doesn't matter, you don't have to wait for people to walk down to put up/down their targets. It's got a ventilation system that keeps you from having to shoot through fog. The staff is very helpful and right on top of everything. The shop is actually very competitive price wise for ammo. The parking is close to the door, the prices are very reasonable and they have a lot of stalls - once you pay, you can leave and come back later that day and shoot some more.

Went to Eagle to sight in my new gun. You are required to read and fill out a release, no big deal, make sure you read it fully as there will be questions at the end. Staff was friendly and helpful. The range is only 25 yards so sighting in a long gun is somewhat useless but it's a start. Pistol shooting is great , the targets come to you so no down time waiting on other shooters. Definitely worth checking out.

This is my wife's and my favorite range. We have taken group and individual classes here and have never been disappointed. They are family and "rookie" friendly. The range masters have always been patient and polite with me, when I inadvertently broke some of the range rules (that are common to all gun ranges.) They also were always willing to help with technique, gun problems (jamming, lining up a laser, etc.)They have a very nice lounge area, a good selection of weapons and accessories, an ample parking lot, clean modern bath rooms, and reasonable prices. It is popular for a reason, and I can highly recommend it.

I've tried out many of the gun ranges in the DFW area, but Eagle Gun Range is by far the best I've visited. They offer a wide range of rentals, well stocked in ammo, several lanes, and the staff is excellent!

Nice well managed indoor gun range. I almost hate give a excellent review because I feel this place is a well kept secret. Nice well lite indoor shooting range. Where all the targets work as they should. The range staff or range safety personnel are there to assist you if you need help and to make your visit a good one. And if you need a break you can step off of the shooting line and move to a breakroom to relax if needed and discuss your targets with your shooting friends.

First timer, good description for me, so if you are not your opinion could be quite different. We were helped immediately and bought ammunition. We brought guns and safety equipment. There are about ten stalls with adjustable targets to move. It was closely monitored for safety but not so much that it was intrusive. I appreciated the monitoring. Nice selection of guns available for purchase.

First time shooting a gun, great experience very helpful staff. Scary when you first walk into the range very loud. Its a MUST you read the rules and regulation as first timers the staff will ask you to repeat a phase. Its best to purchase your own ammo and protective wear(glasses, ear plugs). Wearing closed toes shoes no sandals is best, there are shells all over the floor.

My husband has his CHL, and so for Christmas he gave my daughter and I a gift card so we could learn to shoot. (This is, afterall, Texas). We received a lesson about gun safety, important technical-body-placement aspects of shooting from a terrific guy and we spent about 40 minutes 'on the range' practicing. Total cost was about $144 for the two of us... and it was so worth it.We practiced with a 22 and 9mm and hit the target and are going back for more (Ladies night is Tuesday starting @ 4 pm). Don't know how crowded it will be, so this will be a new experience. The range has probably about 12 shooting bays indoors, check in goes smoothly and everyone there is so helpful. Check website for the dress code: Wear closed toed shoes. Bring eye protection (regular glasses are ok), ear protection too... but if you don't have any their prices are very reasonable. Gun rentals are reasonable too - just need to buy the ammo, which (again) seems pretty fairly priced. This isn't a super-fancy place like the Frisco Gun Club is supposed to be, but it's totally adequate, clean and safe!
