Came in February but still had a great experience. Most flowers were in bloom and the place was beautiful. The trails and displays go on and on. I'm not sure how many acres they have but there is plenty to see; lot's of photo ops. The grape soda in the gift shop is terrific!

The annual Fall festival is held the last weekend of Oct. So this year, the fun starts on Halloween oct 31st, and continues Nov 1st and 2nd. So I usually take a group the week or so prior to get a preview and promote the nursery in hopes my guests return for the festival. Also they get some great looking plants! The weather was perfect for a walk about the acres. The selection and variety of roses and plants was prolific. And the staff were generous with their time in answering questions and in finding plants to suit their needs. Such as salvia for deer proof landscaping. And milkweed for butterfly attraction. And tree types for significant shade sources.Great hour well spent in the splendor of natural beauty!

Lovely roses and flower garden. A great venue for the wedding that I attended. Just magical! You can also order these vintage roses from them for your home gardens.

We visited the Antique Rose Emporium on a May morning expecting oppressive heat and awful mosquitoes. Instead, the morning was good and the bugs miraculously were absent. There are hundreds of different types of roses and other plants. We strolled through the rows of plants for about 45 minutes, though on a cooler day we could have probably stayed a little longer. There are nice bathrooms and lovely plants for sale. A wedding was in progress as it was a Saturday and it seemed as though the owners put a great deal of effort into making the adorable little red church on premises look beautiful, and it did. As an observer, it's one of the prettier wedding/special event venues I've ever seen. ***For those allergic to bees, the rose garden obviously has quite a few. One in our party had a serious bee allergy and managed just fine, but it's worth bringing an epipen for those who need it***

Always a good choice to see Spring flowers, and to buy plants. One drawback was that the shop inside the emporium where Vicki sells angel stone art was not open the day we visited (during the week). Boo hoo! Beautiful beautiful art.

We traveled here from Austin in late April while the wildflowers were in bloom. We decided to take the country roads and I am so happy we did. The trip and the Antique Rose Emporium were such magical places. The roses are all $18.95, which is a real deal and the selection is overwhelming. They have pink, red, orange, green, blue, purple, climbers, shrub, tea, hybrid, and a few plants that aren't roses. Even if you don't want to buy roses - there gardens are truly spectacular with roses growing everywhere. I was in heaven! I'll definitely make the trip again in the fall.

Lots of roses and other flowering plants for purchase. Many gardens and places to wander around. Even has a chapel and outdoor reception area for weddings. Nice place to spend some time and pick up something for your flower beds. Prices were reasonable.

This emporium is located on Texas 50; parking is in a dirt lot. The place is a horticulturalists’ and rosarians’ bonanza. It primarily displays and sells antique roses, which are available in many shades of pink, mauve, red, white, orange, and yellow. There are taller rose shrubs and shorter ones, thorny roses and nearly thornless ones. They’re all here! The sprawling display gardens are a fascinating place to visit if only to witness all the many varieties of roses in bloom. Beyond the vast displays of roses, along winding and shaded paths, are offerings of cacti and wildflowers and native tree saplings of many types; they're also for sale. The pavilion, gazebo, water fountains and other garden structures and ornaments add to the emporium’s charm. A camera is a must! We love this wonderful place!

I love this place. I take the kids there regularly and have since they were tiny. In fact this has been one of my favorite places to photograph them. It is beautiful. There are plenty of places to explore and look around. The early homes on site offer some history and fun for the kids. And of course there are the plants. I can never leave without buying something. I have purchased some beautiful roses that have thrived. Will be going back for more this spring.

This is a fun place to take family and friends from out of town. Such a great variety of roses, herbs and flowers and they're helpful in letting you know what's best for you. Very well-maintained and the purple in the garden - the fences, etc. are so cute - my sisters both went back to Denver and copied that!

So many roses it was hard to select just two. Reference material available for the novice gardener, as well as the more advanced. Plants are presented in varying ways to give visitors ideas on how to enhance their own gardens.

I wish we had gone to the Antique Rosé Emporium a day or two sooner. The temperature had dropped from the mid 80's to the low 60's the morning we want and the wind was howling. Still we stayed for at least an hour walking the grounds, admiring so many plants we'd never seen before. I can't begin to tell you many varieties of roses they have.We were with an antique car group and so didn't buy anything, but since we are only about an hour away, we will definitely go back when we are ready to buy things to plant. The staff were, extremely helpful and knowledgable. The grounds were impressive, even on a cold windy day.

So beautiful and relaxing just to stroll through the gardens. Even if you aren't wanting to buy a plant (you will be by the time you leave though) it is a pleasant half hour to hour just walking around.

So beautiful. I didn't know there were so many kinds of roses that would grow in Central Texas. The grounds are laid out for a lovely stroll; I got awesome photos that I still enjoy today. This is a great weekend afternoon outing.
