Cross Timbers winery is simply great. Don, Penny and the staff are awesome ate what they do. they make everyone who enters the door feel like family. They have a great selection of Texas wines that run the gamut from sweet to dry and whit to red. The property is awesome for a day time tasting or an event like a wedding. I always visit this historical site every time i am in the Metroplex. Highly recommenced!

Small yet intimate setting. Wine was pretty good. Price not bad for the tasting. The host was friendly. Didn't like the xerox copies for a menu, it felt cheap.

Cross Timbers Winery and tasting room is very nice. During the Grapefest we had a nice tour of the tasting room and the wine is really good too.

We started checking out all the wineries in Grapevine over the last year and it seems we always start here first. Fun & friendly staff. We always seem to meet fun people to few samples with. In the cooler months we enjoy sitting outside with a glass of wine.

As wine enthusiasts, my wife and I like to patronize local wineries to support Texas viticulture, and help grow interest in local wines. Some time ago, Cross Timbers Winery was recommended to us by a friend for a special event we were planning, which would have around 50 guests. THe winery has an adorable barn that is nicely appointed for special events, and we decided to give it a go.The staff nailed it out of the park. The owner is a wonderfully pleasant man (and hard working, too!) who made some very fine barbecue for the event. The special events coordinator was equally terrific, and had everything sorted out for the entire day.Separately, the winery is a great place to visit for the occasional casual glass of wine. They run outdoor wine tasting events frequently, and with the set-back-from-the-road atmosphere, it's a really nice way to relax under a shade tree with a glass of wine.Definitely give it a go, even if you have kids. It's a wonderful place!

Our wine tour group stopped here as the last winery of our tour. Cool house. The staff explained the available wines. Cheese and crackers were great too.The stories about the haunted nature of the property were convincing and fun. Not saying I believe but one of the pictures I took had a strange glowing area on it. Who knows?

A bachelorette group stopped here with the local wine tour. This was our favorite stop. It is so nice and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely stop in again sometime.

I almost missed this winerey first because it wasn't listed yet in trip advisor and second because it is housed in a historic building in a residential area with little in the way of visible signage. However fortunately it was located between the hotel I was staying at and the yoga studio I visited. So I stopped in one day to check it out and perhaps bring my friend back later but between the inviting atmosphere and the fact that they had wine made from Texas grapes I decided to stay. They also have wine from their sister winery in Mexico. The lady pouring the wines was friendly and informative and the wines definitely worth tasting. Unfortunately, they were sold out of the wine that looked most interesting. Definitely worth a visit.
