This is a small museum with lots of items to give you to the history of this county. Plenty of pictures and displays to see. It is free so you can't beat the price.

Old bank building right on the square. Admission is free. Good place to learn the history of Georgetown.

The building was a very old bank. The museum is loaded with history. It's well worth the price(free). I have been in Museums that weren't nearly as good; however, you had to pay to get in. If your on the square in Georgetown, this is a must see.

I like the Williamson Co Museum. It is not very large so it only take 20 minutes or so to walk through and see the exhibits. They have new exhibits regularly and the staff is super friendly. You get a brief history of different aspects of Williamson County history. It's well done. It's free and you'll learn something new.I just love it.

I want to start by saying the price is right here - free. There are a few displays that are interactive and very friendly people inside. The air conditioning is worth the price of admission if you are strolling the square. I also like the old pictures of Georgetown through out the years. While not a huge museum it still packs a good punch. We usually see everything in 30 - 40 minutes really taking it slow and enjoying the experience.

This is a great place to spend some time. The museum is full of Georgetown History and the displays change frequently enough to keep one coming back. If you become a member there are several "special" events that are just for members and they too are worth it. Overall I was very impressed and YES the museum is Accessible!
