I was given a spa day gift from my children, we live not too far from Canyon Oaks but this was my first time there. The grounds were pretty even in winter, with a pool and patio and cottages sprinkled throughout. My gift was a massage, facial, pedicure, and lunch. The staff was very nice and I enjoyed the fact that all of my services were in one location. Rooms were nice and simply decorated and I was pleased with my services. I had to leave early and got my lunch to go. Their were only two lunch options and I was not impressed with the food. I will be back for a facial or massage but will skip the food.

We arrived at the Spa at Canyon Oaks on a Friday afternoon for a 2 night stay. We were greeted warmly by the staff and enjoyed a delicious lunch in the spa bistro. After lunch we were shown to our cottage, having just enough time to settle in before our scheduled couples massage. Our cottage was comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated. We were thrilled with the personal welcome sign awaiting us in our cottage. The towels and linens were of a nice quality, and the firm queen sized bed was comfortable. The grounds of the spa are lovely, and the spa treatments we had (couples massage and couples facials) were delightful! Our continental breakfasts for the weekend were delivered to our room during our massages. Breakfast consisted of muffins, juice and a fruit cup one morning, and bagels, cream cheese, juice and fruit the next morning. The beautiful property is very rural, so it is quiet! We greatly enjoyed this hidden treasure and will return. The spa treatments are not to be missed, and I suggest booking early, as the spa stayed extremely busy the entire time we were there. You do need to bring a hair dryer and toiletries, because there are none in the cottage. It is a long drive into town if you have to go buy shower gel and a hair dryer!
