A quiet Sunday lunch accompanied by Michael Buble music softly playing, served by a friendly and attentive waiter. The snapper was cooked to perfection and the asparagus seasoned and cooked just right! Did I mention the wine tasting? Wonderful What a delightful way to spend Sunday with a very significant other.

We live in the same town and love taking visitors there for a touch of elegance served up with Southern Hospitality any time we have eaten there it has been a good experience all around. Our favorite is, however, the turtle pond in the back and they give you free turtle food to lure the little cuties up to the deck you stand on ( you can also eat back there) and they bring us great joy☺️. The people in the gift shop are equally pleasant and fun to visit with. Come check it out and relaxe with the surroundings

My girlfriend and I arrived an hour before our lunch/dinner reservations. We entered the store of surprisingly well-priced wine (most wines are $14, and could easily go for double that). We each got a glass of our favorite wine (the Gewurztraminer) and took a walk along the path that take its hikers past a lovely pond, a few benches, gazebo, and bridge the sends you right back to the wine bar. We then arrived ten minutes early for our reservation and were promptly seated. Britney, one of the managers for Massina Hof, served us. We got the Texas Cheese Plate, Brie Wedge, Split Pea Soup, and the Marinara sauce pasta. Each dish seemed to be better than the last. Really, they were all outstanding. The service was fun, light, professional and enjoyable. Fantastic atmosphere. Not a bad thing to say.We came to Massina Hof for Valentine's Day, so obviously there was a bit of an expectation for things to go well and for us not to need to worry about anything. Massina Hof, with it's beautiful grounds, delicious food, excellent service, easy parking, and reasonable prices completely blew us away.

I surprised my wife with a wine tour and dinner here. the tour is a minimum of 10 ppl so at $15 per person $150 is a steal for what you get. Our family and friends accompanied us and we all had a blast and got tipsy from the tastings. The tour of the cellar and distillery was very interesting. This is a great way to relax and unwind after a rowdy college football weekend.

My son 22 and I went for the wine tasting and tour as part of my birthday celebration weekend. Our tour guide was excellent! We purchased a glass of wine to take with us on the tour. The antiques in the Villa are spectacular. It was awesome to see the vines that produce the grapes they harvest for their PORT. We learned very interesting information about the history of their vineyard. We tasted 4 wines and had a marvelous time! Their wine bar is very interesting. We plan to return and eat at their restaurant on my next visit to College Station.

Very informative wine tasting. Awesome wine selection! We especially loved the tour of the grounds and explanation for novice wine drinkers

I visited with my adult children. The tour guide was most informative and entertaining with the information that he provided. We stayed for two flights of additional tastings. The environment was sweet and homey and the staff was pleasant and informativeA "must do"

Spent done time here to enjoy the Messina Hof wines and take some family pictures. Bar staff was very friendly and made some good suggestions. I especially enjoyed the reserve Pinot noir. Wonderful, actually.

The wine is great but a little pricey. The place is small and busy. The workers are okay, but nothing special. We had to wait a while to be taken care of and the tastings are expensive.

Paul & Merrill Bonarrigo have created a beautiful winery and more impressive delicious wines. My wife & I first visited Messina Hof in 2001 and immediately fell in love. We have enjoyed visiting over the years and watched as the little winery grew to include a first class restaurant "The vintage House", a beautiful Bed & Breakfast "The Villa", and a great Wine Bar.I strongly recommend becoming a VIP member, we have been VIP's since 2008. The benefits are fantastic. One more recommendation would be to plan a weekend during the harvest, where you will actually harvest grapes, mash them with your bare feet and step out of the barrel onto your souvenir t-shirt, where you will embellish with your own grape soaked foot prints.

Great place to go to have a nice, varied wine tasting. $15 for 6 wine flights. Didn't get a chance to go on the tour- but it seems it wasn't that extensive and didn't miss much. If the weather was nicer, would have sat outside and enjoyed the pretty lake.

The winery has excellent wines and terrific personnel. The winery is easy to get to from Fredericksburg, close to Austin and San Antonio; well worth the drive!

$12.50 for a tour and tasting. Great group experience. Some of my guests were tired and retired to the bar area for nibbles and wine. The other half trooped along to the vineyards and barrel room followed by a tasting in the gift shop back room. Quaint atmosphere. Interesting and entertaining tour and demo. Plenty of room to sit.Tasting includes a wine glass. Cheese plate nibble was delicious. Most of my group preferred the port. Especially the recommendation to mix it in brownie mix instead if the water and bake. They thought that was grand!Narrow country roads. So go slow and don't miss the entrance. Like we did in a motor coach! Luckily it was a weekday and the driver was able to back up to entrance since there was no space to turn around. Cheers!

Messina Hof is a fine family run winery where I tried several of their gems. The pinot noir and cab were my favorites. The GHW/Bush Merlot had a nice nose and good taste.
