brazos valley brewery

we have been to the BVB beer garden several times. It is a real gem in Brenham with good beer, very friendly staff and dogs are welcome. We have had wonderful evenings here and met interesting people. Sometimes they have special events with pizza available.

Decided to check this place out after dinner last Friday night. What a fun find! It's an outdoor venue - patio style - very little seating though. Many people who knew that brought their lawn chairs. The beer was great - the tour was good - the people were friendly and welcoming, even though we were clearly not locals. The best past of the night was listing to Beau Hinze and the Back Porch Shufflers. What a fun, fun band. The crowd danced, sang along, and just enjoyed the music, the beer, and the band. We met the band members, one of the owners, and a few new friends. This few great hours made our weekend in Brenham! We'll be back. Cheers to the Brazos Valley Brewery!

We stumbled upon this place as part of a bluebonnet drive. The beer garden was a fun place to sit and have a couple of craft beers. We tried all 5 of the beers and liked them all (o.k. I wasn't crazy about the REALLY strong one--but that's just not my taste!!!) The owners were there that day and were really friendly and willing to show us around. It IS a bit off the beaten path--which is what I like! The beer garden is only open on weekends. So, if you're heading that way, you might want to check their web site and see if they're planning on being open.

This was a great place to visit, have a beer, and learn a little about beer making in Historic Brenham. The guys working were great and the beer was terrific. A real find that's a little off the beaten path.They're only open on the weekends, and it's spotty at that, so if you don't plan ahead it's the luck of the draw for you. It's small and new so it isn't all polished and perfect, but that added some charm.
