Kreutzberg is so beautiful and feels so remote. We were the only people in the park. The park has great trails, bird blinds, bluebird houses, and chimney swift towers. We saw many deer and the river area is lovely. Also, a great place for geocashing.

I only spent a little while here taking pictures of the fall foliage one day. I was the only person there and got to enjoy a peaceful and beautiful time. I will be back to check out more of the trails soon.

I am a hiker and really enjoy the changes of views from the grassy field, classic hill country, and then the river area with grass and tall pecan trees. Such a gem. One of my fav's.

Nothing to dislike. A nice quiet park where you can have a picnic and relax or go hiking walking with your pet.

I was out driving around outside of Boerne and just stumbled upon this place. I'm glad I did! I spent a couple of afternoons here. I was the only one there on one day, and the following day I brought my Dad here and we saw only one other person. There are some nice trails that wind around down by the river. The bird watching blinds are very nice.

This is another of my favorite little hiking spots. I have spent several happy hours wandering along the beautiful trails. I have seen tracks of all kinds, including a great deer track once. I have also seen and shot a photo of a jackrabbit while hiking there. You can get right down to the river and enjoy dipping your feet, or go for a swim. There are plenty of birds of various species inhabiting the park for those who enjoy birdwatching. There are camera ports and blinds that offer birdwatchers and photographers excellent bird viewing. Whether you are looking for a place take a short hike, have a romantic picnic, or a family day out, this lovely little Natural Area offers you everything you can need or want.

This peaceful natural area is the perfect place to go and enjoy nature. Sitting in the bird blinds is relaxing and fun. There are so many species of birds that visit the habitat yards. Feeding stations are constructed with natural materials and each "yard" has a water fountain. Camera ports in the blinds are terrific for photographers. Birders post the birds they see on a white board. It's fun to see what birds are on the board. A volunteer group helps maintain the blinds and we gave them a donation. Trails go all over and we always see jackrabbits and usually hear turkeys. You can see lots of tracks in the sand. Educational signs tell about wildlife, plants, and fossils, and there are picnic tables in a pretty garden. You can park near the river and walk down a path to get to the water. If I lived near this natural area I would go every day to relax and unwind. Totally worth the drive.

this is a perfect place for kids to play in the water. It's not too fast moving but plenty of river play area without all the huge rocks to get in the way. There are picnic tables to enjoy your picnic in shaded areas. Lot's of parking area. There are also bird blinds thru the park to watch and photograph birds in natural habitat
