Allen Event Center - Very nice arena! Not a bad seat in the house. Comfy seats. Nice crowd. Great for families and soccer fans.

It's a great place to watch a hockey game! No bad seats. Free parking and proximity to lots of shopping and dining.

We went to Jake the Pirate & Sophia the First in December and then to the NDSU pep-fest in January.I like that the Allen Event Center is small so all of the seats are good, it's always easy to find parking and it's always quick to get in. As to be expected with any event center everything you buy in there (food, drink, etc) is ridiculously expressive.The princess and pirate show was pretty miserable because it is SO cold in there but I'm not sure there is much they can do about that since there is ice under the seats.

We were at Allen event center for a pep fest. The staff was awesome and very friendly. It was an awesome night!!

Went to the Allen American Game New Years Eve, 2014. The Allen Event Center is a fantastic venue. To me, it is like American Airlines Center, lower portion. Great video screens, not a bad seat in the house. Home to the Allen Americans. If your looking at an event here, not matter where you end up you will have a great seat.

The Dallas Sidekicks are back from hibernation and ready to dazzle the Dallas Metroplex again! The games are fun for the whole family and with multiple giveaways, interactions, and events at the game, what's not to love? Now I recommend everyone takes a family night out with the Dallas Sidekicks! Go kicks!

The Allen Convention Center provides a venue allowing the public to be close to the action in a good location. Parking is easy and free to the public. Access is good and prices are reasonable for most venues. Enjoyed our visit.

Went there recently for a concert and was very pleased with the venue. Fantastic stage with awesome seats. The only bad thing is that they do not allow us to bring outside water or food. Need to change that policy. Took a star off because of that.

This ice-skating rink offers a good option for the kids to stay cool on a hot Texas day; take a look online at the public skating schedule before going. They also rent skates out there for a reasonable price.

Overall the Allen Event Center is phenomenal place to hold events. We are here for the martial art tournament every year.The Facility:The seating is wonderful. Most martial art tournaments do not have anywhere for family to sit and competitors to rest. The seating is also nice as you can have an excellent view of the rings below and be able to watch every part of the action. The restrooms are clean and the arena well kept.Food:Outside food and drink are not allowed (this is what caused me to mark off a star). In some cases "concession style" food is not appropriate. At a martial art tournament I do not intend to be fueling up on coke & hot dogs before I compete. They do not serve anything that could be seen as healthy or good for athletes. It is terrible and it is better to starve than compete with a hot dog on my stomach. Keep this in mind if you have dietary requirements such as gluten free, vegan, healthy, etc.Location:The location is excellent. It is in the middle of a large shopping center. Whole Foods is directly up the road (which is great if you can leave your event and grab some food since the event center doesn't offer any healthy choices). There is plenty of parking and shops surrounding the center and a dog park for those who may be traveling through with their fur-kids.

The Allen Event Center is an awesome place to have a concert. The parking is easy with the 4 level parking garage and there is NO fee to park!!! They have a full concession stand, the air conditioning is great and the seats are comfortable. Restrooms get a little busy at intermission but the line goes really fast so stay in line and just wait it out. : ) Traffic moves well going in and out.

Enjoyed Dennis Miller, Dana Carvey and Kevin Nealon at the AEC! The show was great, the venue was perfect and getting "in and out" for parking and the event was surprisingly easy!! Ill be back! :)

Enjoyed our concert last night, Doobie Brother's and Boston.Though my ears are still ringing today. Didn't look there was a bad seat in the house. Doobie Brother's were the best, Boston look at the age you are playing to and adjust the volume! Enjoyed it!

The Allen Event Center is where the Allen Americans hockey team plays. There isn't a bad seat in the house. The players are younger than the NHL guys, generally, and they play with a lot of heart. The games are always exciting and fun. Tickets and food are affordable and I believe that parking is free in two covered parking garages. The event center is located in a large sprawling shopping area with lots of restaurant options. If you like hockey, you should really check it out.
