I have always mainly come for the pool and slides, but mini-golf is fun as well. The park also sports batting cages, picnic areas, and I believe there are some sort of trails around the park. Snack bar usually hits the spot, and you can buy season passes but we don't go often enough for that to be worth our while.

This is a great place for the entire family on a summer day. A large pool with various slides is enticing. A snack bar with a number of tables caters to the crowd. A set of batting cages (high, medium and low speeds) captures the imagination of future major leaguers. And a miniature golf course gives hope to those interested in the PGA or just having fun. The course is nicely built with holes set on a sloping terrain in the midst of cascading water. Moderate prices for any of these attractions makes the park family friendly.

I come here several times a summer with my kids and it is always a fun time. There are three pools, including one large general-purpose pool, one shallow pool for toddlers, and one set aside for lap swimming only (my personal favorite). Children can use the lap pool only when accompanied by an adult. The lifeguards are friendly and well-trained. There are two waterslides and there is a big splash zone with a huge bucket that dumps water at intervals. There is also a snack bar with your basic pizza, chicken nuggets, and french fries. Prices for pool entrance are reasonable. Outside the pool area, there are also a batting cage, a large picnic area, and a wonderful mini-golf course. The mini-golf is nicely landscaped and has plenty of shade, which is all important for our hot Virginia summers. All in all, a nice day out.

I've only visited for the walking / biking trails (rather than the activities) but am always surprised by how peaceful the park feels (even though it runs along Wilson Boulevard!). It's a great natural get-away very close to Arlington's Orange Line corridor. Family activities include a water park, put-put course, and batting cages.

My grandsons love going there to play miniture golf. It is a lovely course with multiple grass levels, streams & waterfalls. It is beautifully landscaped with flowers, bushes & trees, so it is a nice break from the heat of the sumer.

The pool here was recently redone into a water park with an expanded area for little kids that is a splash zone with lots of spraying water, dumping buckets, and fun stuff for kids. There are also some great (and not too scary) slides that kids up to teenager age will love. Super clean and a friendly crowd frequents the pool most days. There is still a lap pool for those coming to exercise that is quite large and you can get a great workout there. What is nice is the park has installed a lot of beach lounge chairs on the deck so you don't have to lie in the sun on a wet towel if you don't want and they also have open-sided canvas shade tents for those of us who don't like baking in the direct sun. Right across the fence is a great mini-golf. Looking slightly worn these days, but it is still fantastic for and 18 hole experience with the kids. My 19 year old still likes to go there. Its claim to fame is that it has the longest hole for mini-golf in the WORLD! I kid you not. It is in the back nine. Lots of fun for parents, teens, or anyone who wants to get their putting up to snuff.

Upton Hill Regional Park. Last day of summer you can bring your dog to the pool. But the rest of the season bring your family and enjoy putt putt golf, pool with slides, batting cage. Plenty of parking, plenty of shade. One of our favorite places to play.

it does sound great. the park actually could be better kept, although there are a few cleaners who come there about once a week fun, sport like park with room for a little game of catch and a picnic.

A good place to take the family or when you want some activity that doesn't involve drinking or spending a lot of money. Batting cages, swimming pool, and mini golf. You could spend the whole day here when it's nice out! Convenient location.

This county funded park is a great place to take the kids (or yourself) to play a little miniature golf, hit the pool, or some fast-pitch baseball or softball (when the cage is up and running). Also just up the hill from a larger regional park with plenty of paths, tennis courts, and open fields.

The kids love the 2 slides in the pool area, the batting cages and putt-putt. There is a pavilion on site with picnic tables and outdoor grills. All the activities are in close proximity to each other and well maintained. If going to the pool area, best to go first thing upon opening, summer mid-afternoons get jam packed. Parking limited.

Fun for the kids. Putt Putt, walking trails and a water park. What else do you need?

A beautifully-landscaped miniature golf course (very hilly); an updated set of pools with mini-waterpark features; batting cage; park grounds with picnic facilities; snack shop with reasonable prices. Great for a family reunion.

Great daily fee swimming pool. Putt putt is one of the best and the batting cages are fun. .Parking is packed by mid day. Food on site is okay for burgers and fries. The staff is out of a bad teen movie (ie. clerks) but it's fun place to hang.

It's a basic waterpark with 2 waterslides and a small element with a dumping bucket for the little ones. A rudimentary snack bar as well. There is a mini golf course and a batting cage as well. There are some better public waterparks in Northern Virginia with cleaner bathrooms. It is what it is -- a fun public waterpark/pool.Staff friendly.
