Like many other reviewers stated. It's not a bad place to hangout or take your kids. The cinema is actually a good place to go to catch a movie.

Haven't been in the mall in about a year. Was sup priced to see how nice it was. I still am very unimpressed with the outside of the building. Needs a complete face lift. It has that industrial age grungey type feel.

This mall just went through a facelift, but it's still the same old crappy mall and filled with teenagers walking and texting and horsing around. If you read the review from Amber C you will get my drift, She wrote: "Nice place to visit to just walk around, or get something you need. We hung out here to kill a few hours before dinner one night". Or look at Modwilliams review saying "I go there every 2-3 weeks just to look around or take my kids to the play area" All lookers and a place for kids to hang out. I saw one kid go on and try to open a register on a kiosk merchant while he took a bathroom break. The Toyriffic toystore moved out and is now located in front of the main entrance, in the same strip mall as Best Buy and they also opened a new As Seen On TV store next to Toyriffic. The as seen on TV store in the Best Buy strip mall is cheaper and much more friendlier than the one in the mall. I've written off Apple Blossom for years, and the new renovation is not going to bring me back. SO if you are between 13-20 you will love ABM.

Apple Blossom Mall, with its new renovation, is a nice small shopping mall. I go there every 2-3 weeks just to look around or take my kids to the play area. It's a convenient mall to me if I don't feel like driving to Valley Mall or Prime Outlet in Hagerstown, MD. I wish they could have more shops. I was excited when they renovated, thinking that they will add more appealing stores. However, they didn't. But their new movie theater seems to be great. I haven't been there since we prefer Alamo. The mall's floor plan is great and it's just one floor mall. There are 3 department stores in this mall, which are JCPenny, Sears, and Belk. I love their food court, the cleanliness, and the kids' play area.I avoid going to the mall on the weekend or during rush hours in Winchester, VA because of the traffics. There are numerous parking spots. But the ones I like the most are around the movie theater area since it's the entrance of the food court and closed to most stores.

i stopped by this mall this week and I am amazed at how much it has changed. new threater, new look on the inside, but still the same issues with the parking lot (pot holes). There are a few new shops. The food court is still very good.

This mall is very comparable to the malls that we have near my home in Pennsylvania. A few big stores like Sears, and then little stores like Spencer's, Pac Sun and Hollister. Nice place to visit to just walk around, or get something you need. We hung out here to kill a few hours before dinner one night. My 5 yr old enjoyed playing on the ride on cars, helicopters and other ride ons.

This mall has some very good anchor stores and a variety of other retailers. It was being renovated while we were there and that presented some minor issues. The food court area is limited and in general the Mall shows its age.

It's an ok mall, not a big variety of stores, but has the basics.

Apple Blossom is a "so-so" mall, well "fair" is a better word for it, Not as dead as Martinsburg Mall and Staunton ( VA ) Mall. More stores than Harrisonburg's Valley Mall but its still lags behind. Hagerstown and NoVA. Pros:*The only Belk & Sears in the region. ( Sears in nearby Martinsburg is closed )*a few decent food places though the food court is somewhat smallish*easy to find with lots of parking*movie theatres attached to the mall ( though I admit they have seen better days ).Cons:*Mall hasn't been updated at all since their opening in September 1982. Walking the mall will give you the impression that Sean Penn will pop out of one of the stores and say "Hey Bud..Let's Party !!..or expect to see "E T" or Porkys" at the local theatre. Yeah AB Mall really is a 1982 time warp.*Outdated signs and ad such as the one ad I saw inside the mall recently for ABC-TV Winchester's weathergal Lauryn Rickets. Lauryn some time ago had left Winchester ( and TV 3 ) for FOX Washington. Why is her ad still up?*many of the employees of the stores including JC Penney seemed to be very bored.*the so-called arcade leaves a LOT to be desired such as having more broken games than working ones.Over the years Simon the owner of Apple Blosom Mall had plans on updating this mall such as adding better theatres and better stores such as Macys ( Hechts before that ) had expressed interest in this mall but ONLY if Apple Blossom Mall is updated. Alas..between the economy and the politics of Winchester who would rather keep this mall as a 1982 time warp for :fear" that any updating will take away from that "small town image"....doubful it will ever happen.

As a local to this area I have had plenty of experience with this mall. High rental prices, not quite big enough walkways and stores, and a general lack of interest have made this mall a hodgepodge of stores with high turn-over. While not horrible, it is not a quality shopping destination. Also, avoid the attached carmine cinema at all costs. Go to the Alamo drafthouse for a fun movie watching experience, just be sure to get there early.
