The city of Suffolk has done an exceptional job remoding an old high school building (inside and out) and turning it into a cultural arts center. Our group of four came to the center for the opening of a friend's artistic woodturning exhibition. The opening was well done with numerous pieces of our friend's work and a steady flow of people into the giftshop/gallery. While there we took the opportunity to walk through the center and visit several other galleries. The building has been totally remodeled so that one would hardly notice that rooms had once been classrooms. The theater that had once been a school auditorium rivals any theater in Hampton Roads. Several areas of the center have been turned into historical and social rooms where you can host events. All are well appointed. The center hosts a variety of arts-related classes. And anyone who vistis should consider a meal in Mosaic restaurant in the building.

Love the small venue and personal feeling. The sound was great and just the overall feeling of being close to the band.

My son takes guitar through here. And we have attended. Adios concerts etc and enjoyed them. The gift shop is also a little gem.

My daughter has gone many times on field trips over the years. I have only been one time to see a live performance for children. We have a great time. That was the first time in many years that I had seen a live play. I would love to see the nut cracker that is performing soon.
