After taking the water taxi from Downtown Norfolk VA, It was a quick walk to the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame and Museum. The museum is 2 floors. A lot to memorable of the Virginia players. Any sports fame would enjoy this museum. There is some interactivity for the kids to enjoy.

Place has facts and memorabilia that a sports enthusiast may enjoy. Lots of interactive things to do, but most of them are broken and/or not working. Took my family of 5 less then an hour to be in n out. I won't go back.

The actual Hall of fame is down stairs and really really small but still had a lot of interesting items. It's really not for adults its all about the kids. It really doesn't take that long to go through the entire thing maybe like an hour.

I took my daughters there for my first visit (they have previously been) & it was about what I expected for the money. Many interesting facts & interactive play. I do think that they need to update & maintain it better though. Several things were not working (theater, Nascar games, treadmill) & the soccer balls had the stuffing hanging out & the nets were ripped up. I do have to say that all of the employees were awesome. We were only there for just over an hour, but we were also the only people in the museum.

took our kids here and we were in and out with in an hour... not really worth the money. When we went it was full of rude people who every other word was F this and N!@@er that... not what I want to deal with

As Va natives, this museum was very informative of all the great athletes VA. Grandchildren loved the interactive games, all sports highlighted. We had the museum to ourselves so is is truly a hidden jewel in Portsmouth

I decided to take my husband here because he loves sports and he had a blast. At first he was skeptical but in the end we both had a ton of fun. We really enjoyed the room downstairs were you can pretty much record and play commmenter for some of the sporting events. We spent at least 30 minutes in that room alone. The upstairs was pretty awesome too I really enjoyed the Bon Secours room with the skeleton figure on the bicycle. I had fun doing the nascar simulator even though I sucked at it. The room where you can throw the baseball, football and kick the soccer ball is pretty neat to. Also I forgot they have a basketball court inside which really surprised me. I truly enjoyed this muesum and we are going back soon. I think this place is great for kids especially if they appreciate sports history. We went on a Saturday and it was not super packed and the parking garage is free on the weekends.

The museum is a must for Virginia sports fans. Interactive displays are found throughout the museum with things to do for both the young and young of heart.

If you are into Virginia sports history you will like it. Otherwise it might be a little boring for you. Lots of historical information on sports figures from Virginia, including most of the major sports.

Our son went to a birthday party here and the parents could come along. The kids had fun but as our son says, "It was okay." He liked the football throwing game best where he could try to throw a football through a hole. There was also a basebball pitching area where speed was measured. Those were his favorite parts.

Took my 3 kids (10 and 8 yrs) and had a blast! I loved that there were so many exhibits that were interactive! My kids could shoot a basketball, throw a baseball, drive a racecar all in the same place! We are all looking forward to going back!

We visited this museum on september 23rd.There is a parking garage right behind the museum at 441 Middle street (1$/hour).It is not a big museum and it is mainly focused on Virginian athletes/teams/champions. I personally liked the sports (basketbal, basebal, footbal and soccer) that you can try at the second floor. One of the employees tought me how to throw a football. It is not ease if you are used to play handball. With your ticked you get one coin to play on a Nascar Simulator. Extra coins are available.
