We have been out to Hollin Farms many times now and have had such fun experiences picking our own veggies. We normally go around pumpkin picking season and have picked pumpkins, okra, potatoes and all kinds of other stuff we got to dig up or pull off the vine. The views from the hill are just spectacular and the folks are also very kind. We tend to miss apple picking but there has always been a few large bins of apples at the end of the season. Maybe if you are out and about for the wineries, give this place a visit to pick that perfect veg to compliment your drink of choice.

We had a lovely morning at this farm and definitely recommend it for apple picking. The views are beautiful and we were checked out by a most pleasant young woman. There were plenty of guides to direct us to the apples we were interested in, and they provided us with collection bags. We checked out their pumpkin patch as well, and there was no shortage there. Down the hill were a variety of greens we could pick, as well as potatoes and even sunflowers. There was a corn maze that we did not check out. They sold ice cream and they offer port-o-lets. This was not a place selling jams, pies, and ciders. This was a simply delightful country produce-picking experience.
