You MUST stop here while touring the vineyards around Barboursville!!!The tasting room is quaint, nicely decorated with a jazzy flair and the lady who works it is knowledgeable and friendly. The owner (who popped in) is equally as friendly, we enjoyed chatting with him.The wines all tasted VERY nicely! Their whites are blended by Michael Shaps. The reds are very nicely blended as well. We really enjoyed all of their wines and bought 3 different bottles. They have a pretty in-ground pool there, which they explained is open to wine guests during the summer as well, which is odd, but interesting and intriguing! They offer seating inside and outside on a patio or in the vineyard.Overall, we were very happy with the wines, the staff and the venue and we look forward to going back!

I have such mixed feelings about this winery, very hard to review. The vineyards are beautiful and the tiny venue was quaint, but smelled of their dog upon entry. The woman that greeted us and helped us was very friendly and knowledgable about the wines. The wines were all pretty good. Here is where things went badly. The bathroom they have for you to use, is a Long precarious walk to the homeowners house. Do not go in! Hold it for the next stop. The house was disgusting, but the bathroom was ten times worse! Clearly this bathroom serves as the place where he mixes and tests wine blends and the conditions could not be more unsanitary or gross. I'm still grossed out by it a day later....

Had a nice glass of blanc with black currant syrup--Kir. Very good. The view is beautiful. Decided not to buy. Seemed a little expensive.

I went in October so they are limited on the available wines; however, they have a really nice selection of wines. Once again I am a white wine drinker; yet, they have a nice selection of reds and I actually left with a bottle of red for later. The red I picked up has part Riesling, which is my favorite wine. Unfortunately I do not recall the last wine they served but it has a great taste for winter parties, serve warm. We were able to also buy a non-preservative baked fresh baguette for two dollars. The bread was crispy and tender on the inside, absolutely a nice treat with cheese and wine.

We had a truly lovely wine tasting here, and their wines- especially the Petit Manseng 2012 & 2013- were EXCELLENT! (And The Boar's Head Inn agrees!)This is a small "boutique" family winery, and the people who own it are delightful as well as knowledgeable. Highly recommended- of all the wineries we went to on this trip, we enjoyed this one the most!

We always stop and taste wine as we drive across Virginia. We have stopped at many wineries. We had yet to buy any wine because I had not found any that were better than the $10 wines that I can buy at Trader Joe's. Reynard Florence Vineyard was the first vineyard where I felt that the quality of the wine matched the price. In fact, I had difficulty deciding between two red wines. I was very pleasantly surprised. The place is not large and there is not a huge list of wines but what they make is definitely worth the trip! I highly recommend it. (We brought our children and they played with the owners' dog while we tasted.)

Visited in May 2014. We called late on a Thursday (after 5) and asked if we could stop for a tasting. Great host and a beautiful location.

This is a wonderful small winery with quality wines. Visitors get an opportunity to visit with the husband and wife (and dog) team who share snippits about their journey, their passion, and how they came up with the exquisite name if you ask. The atmosphere is an unpretentious blend of sophistication and country casual. The wines are as enjoyable and polished when you open them at home as they seemed when you tasted them there. The souvenir glass you get with the small tasting fee has become my new go-to evening sipper. I promise you will want to return and bring guests to share the experience. We have, and the second visit was as memorable as the first!

We made this pleasant country drive our first stop of the day and met both owners and their pembroke Welsh corgi in the tasting room along with their able pouring assistant. She was most informative about their wines and we found several bottles to our liking for purchase as well as a gift item. We were then given our tasting glasses (tastings are $5 each) as well. Do make this a stop on your wine tour and be sure to find out how Florence Reynard got its name!

Roe and his wife Dee offer a small vineyard experience and tasting that is very enjoyable. Plus glasses when you purchase some of their wine.

First of all, the vineyard is in Barboursville, Virginia not WEST Virginia. Get this fixed Trip Advisor so others can find this wonderful winery. My fiance & I stopped by for a tasting & we loved it. Every wine we tasted (generous pours I might add) was terrific. Their Merlot is probably the best Merlot we've ever had. Ended up buying 2 bottles. Friendly owners too.

My boyfriend and I visited Reynard Florence on a trip to a mountain cabin for his birthday. We pulled into this quaint winery and fell in love with their Reynard Blanc. They also have a petit mansing that is wonderful. Dee is delightful and so is her husband Roe. They were so willing to talk about their history of their winery. Their little corgi dog is so cute! He lay down at my feet and just was so sweet. We only purchased the Reynard Blanc on that visit and went on to visit other winery's, but keep comparing them to Reynard Florence. About 2 weeks later we returned to the area to go up on skyline drive to have a wine and cheese party and we brought the Reynard Blanc. We stopped by the vineyard again and was greeted by Dee who instantly left the tasting she was doing to hug us. Their little corgi was even excited to see us. We then did another tasting and this time walked away with another Reynard Blanc two bottles for me and one for my boyfriend. We also purchased the Petit mansing and the Cabernet Franc 2010 and the Grenache 2011. We love this winery and I recommend it to everyone I talk to. We are going to get there soon again because I want some more of their lovely wines.

We stopped at Reynard Florence during their Bastille Day celebration, so I have no idea if things are normally so much fun there. We were greeted by some very nice people and a friendly dog, and quickly got that nice feeling you get when you are genuinely welcomed and appreciated. WIne tasting was followed by an offer of a free crepe, which was insanely delicious... they should really start selling crepes here. The whole place was decked out in a french theme for Bastille day, with live music on the porch. They let me grab the mike and sing a tune, and a great time was had by all. The wine was OK - not bad, not great. The character of the place made it worth visiting. One warning - they had no indoor bathroom at the time of our visit - just a port-o-john with nowhere to wash your hands.... probably something they need to remedy if they do start selling crepes that you eat with your fingers....

Reynard Florence Vineyard was such a pleasant surprise. It is a family-run, small winery with a cozy feel. The owners were absolutely wonderful and the wine was great for such a small operation! I felt more welcome there than at any of the surrounding big name wineries. I will definitely go back to Reynard Florence!!
