Don't waste your time and money on this establishment. Unfriendly staff. Unkept horses and trails. Not a positive experience at all.

I went to Pee Wee over the weekend with my son for a trail ride. I must say, since the summer time the place has done a 180° turnaround in the right direction. There are only about 25 or so horses at the farm now, most of which are boarders. I did a thorough inspection of the farm while on my ride (I know the trails very well from over the years) and saw only 7 horses in the woods close by the farm- all in separate pens with beautiful run in sheds, free of excess mud and manure. All of the horses on the farm looked very healthy (if not a bit fat) and all had great hoof condition as well. The majority of the clutter and junk that was laying around had all been hauled away. From what it looks like, this place has really turned around. Those who are skeptical should honestly check out the farm. Everyone there is very pleasant and have all been working hard to right the wrongs. Don't bash it til you've seen first hand!

The ONLY place in Fairfield county that still offers trail rides. The guides and teachers are excellent, the trails are well-maintained, and the prices are very reasonable. Beautiful area to ride through, especially in spring or fall.

This guy does not know how to keep horses in good condition. He leaves them out in any sort of condition. Poor horses he is using the technique of animal abuse.

The horses are skinny, look miserable, and feel irritable and exhausted under saddle. Lessons on those horses with an instructor who clearly does not have any in depth knowledge are not very instructive, and a waste of time and money. The horses are kept saddled and bridled tied to a post for hours, in the baking hot sun, without any water or food. The whole place looks dirty and run-down. Stay away! It is a shame, because there were some nice trails in the woods behind the farm.

A long time ago --this barn was run by a Appaloosa Man...and keep lovely horse here and well kept. These owners at this barn now have kept the most underfed and grossest conditioned horses I have ever seen. The owner espouses leaving horses out in all sorts of weather and let them "Just get used to it " . The children and teen girls running this palce in order to ride and / or board their own horses should be in school and have no business working for nothing but thinking they are gaining something at this disgusting place.Child labor should also investigate this low life joint...'cause what these MEN are doing to these kids on the times I was their should go to JAIL !!
