presley's outing

Presley's Outing is close to home. I've been there many times and it's always been a great experience.Entry is cheap and the place is family oriented. It's basically a nice beach on the Escatawpa River. Plenty of areas to sun, while plenty of areas in the shade to avoid the summer heat under the sun. Facilities are nice and the people are friendly. It's very family oriented... no alcohol allowed.We normally hang out on the beach, or park at a bench under the cypress/pine trees. You can swim, lay out, play volleyball. There is a boat launch with plenty of docking space. Many people ski or tube in the area. Jet-skis are welcome.There are restrooms, and a concession stand open at various times through-out the year.Another attraction are the many camp-sites for RV's and campers; though I live so close I've never used them, though I know many folks who have with good results.
