the magic city line, moberly mini-train

This is a cute activity for children and for the price you get an average length ride. The "conductor" let our little one blow the horn of the train when we got off. Highlight of his week!

We had a great time on the Mini Train. The volunteers are top-notch! My little ones (ages 1 & 3) had a blast. The train ride isn't too long - but the perfect length when you're dealing with toddlers. Highly recommend!

They have done some major improvements including adding a bridge and extending the track. The train cars have been upgraded too. Well done! We'll be riding it again soon. So glad to have a fun Sunday afternoon activity so close to home.

This small train is a volunteer project by the Moberly Friends of the park. The trains, rails, and gardens were built by volunteers often working with donated and shared materials. Moberly was a historic rail road hub and has an active group of train enthusiasts. The mini-train only operates on Sundays 1-4 pm, but one can visit the site during any hours the park is open.
