I visited the winery on Feb 28 and was little bummed since every winery I've ever been to were vibrant places all across Missouri. When you first walk in, you immediately take a seat at small round tables only about 5 steps from the door. There's nothing interesting to look at or buy. We did the wine tasting and you get 6 samples with a free glass, which the concept is great. However, instead of pouring the wine in the glasses, you are given these plastic hospital pill cups to sample the wine. It was four of us, and there were 24 little cups floating around. The wine itself, wasn't bad but wasn't good either. I'll never buy any of it or ever return there again. The waiter, however, was as sweet as pie.

Eagle's Nest tastes their own wines and has a selection of other wines for sale. They also provide a delicious lunch through a nearby bakery. The building is quaint. They provide cheeses from a local diary that are distinctly divine. The Norton is the best that I have ever tried.

Stopped in to sample some wine. Not a huge selection but still very tasty. The service was great and had a chance to visit the bakery next door with our wine in hand. This is a must place to get some sweet treats. The carrot cake was out of this world.

You can sample wines and pick out a wine of your choice and keep the wine glass. My wife picked out a nice semi sweet wine. Ther were packaged gifts available for mothersday.

Great little restaurant for lunch or dessert or just sit and share a bottle of wine. Bad new - the Eagles NEST has closed!
