Very hilly, so definitely need a cart. Bring extra balls, lots of water hazards and hills to roll the balls away. Even though this course is difficult due to the terrain, we enjoy these types of courses for their beauty and the fact you need to really think out each shot.

Great course. Visited during the off-season and had the course to myself. Played two rounds.......both in about three hours. Course requires you to pay attention to your tee shot. Long hitters will need to consider a three wood or less off some tees. Fairways and greens were in great shape. Not many straight putts so play lots of break. Great test..........will definitely play again!

This golf course will test your game! It is very hilly and some blind holes... We enjoyed it very much! Beautiful views and the course was in great shape

Had a great time playing at Sycamore Creek. Been to Osage Beach a few times and always like playing here. Staff is helpful and nice and the course always plays well. Not the easiest course in Central Missouri but a fun place with some water and interesting hole designs. Will definitely continue playing here.

If you want a challenging course this is it, Water hazard galore. It is priced well so you wont break the bank playing this course. I lost quite a few balls. I will play this course again when or if I ever get better.

Our first time on this course. We had a total of 5, 1 was a first time golfer. The course is challenging however not so much so that beginner golfers didn't enjoy as well. Beautiful and well maintained fairways. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only "complaint" that we had is that is was very hot and there was not a drink cart that day....otherwise it would have been a definite 5 star review!

We have an annual golf charity event here and Danna and her team really help us put on a great tournament. They are so accommodating with everything we need. Course is in excellent shape. We could not have done it without the help of the whole Sycamore Creek staff. WE really appreciate them taking the extra time to help make our outing a success!!

My third year golfing at this club. As stated in previous reviews, it is a challenging course and one you want to keep going back to try to beat! Only a few holes that you'll need your longer fairway clubs, so great for fine-tuning your medium/short game. The course is well-maintained and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The greens fees are reasonable. A great community golf course where friends are made!

If you are looking for a pristine resort golf course with finely manicured fairways and greens, look elsewhere. Played here in early April and the course was actually in very good shape. The tee boxes were mostly good with a few bare areas, the fairways were good, not great. The greens have a fair amount of slope, were consistent and average speed. They were all well kept without a lot of pock marks. This is not a grip it and rip it course, you need to look at yardages and hit to a target in the fairway, then to the next target on par 5s, then to the green. I love it that the scorecards have yardages to the targets that seem to be pretty accurate. Make sure you look at them on each hole. Was a fun course to play, and I'd be happy to go back.

After having played golf all over the country, I have found the vast majority of courses to be enjoyable and their personnel to be friendly and courteous. This is especially true at Sycamore Creek Golf Club. I have played the course many times and never had a bad experience. Sycamore Creek seems to go the extra mile to ensure that your golf outing is a pleasant one. Granted, the course is definitely challenging but well worth the time and effort. Also, the rates for both eighteen and nine holes are one of the best golf bargains at the lake. Finally, given my experience, I would suggest that if anyone had a problem at Sycamore Creek, it was, in all probability, due to the actions of the individual involved and not with the course management or employees. I would highly recommend Sycamore Creek Golf Club.

Great course for all levels of play. Always well maintained and reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly and helpful.. They host many tournaments and provide specials for everyone and every level of play. I highly recommend Sycamore Creek Golf Club.

I have lived at the lake for 33 yrs. and this is one of my favorite couses to play. This couse is always in good shape. It offers a challenge to every level of player. This is a tight course with several elevation changes and several water hazzards. It doesn't play as long as some courses but demands accuracy and patience as there are several risk/reward holes. Very aesthetic especially in the spring and fall. The owners and staff are very friendly and always ready to assist you.
