Located outside Knob Noster and Whiteman AFB. Easy to get to, easy to get in and out. Has camping and nice place if you want to camp and just get away. Sites are typically fairly close to the next. There is a small kids playground and basketball court (old tennis court). Several lakes to fish in. No swimming and no beach area. Good place to camp, but not a lot to do. Maybe that is what you want.

this is a nice lightly used park, a great place to relax. They now rent kayaks. Great hiking trails a lot of wildlife, very enjoyable.

Park is very nice, accommodated our large group and all was good. I wish we could have used the dining hall, it was there, but we didnt have access. Bathrooms could be a bit cleaner and closer to the site we had.

A nice state park for camping, fishing, hiking and boating with lots of woods and a large Lake called Clearfork

My daughter and I visited the park in the fall. The trees and walk were very pretty. We also took a picnic lunch and enjoyed the scenery. When we were there, it was not very busy--which was nice.

A very nice state park to camp, fish, hike, or ride bikes. Quiet and friendly along with beautiful scenery.

We have camped in our RV here and just hiked and visited. The people working the park are very friendly and helpful. There are tons of birds to watch. We have not been here during tick season, but we have heard there are tons of them and to dress and prepare accordingly.

Most people do not even know where Knob Noster is, let along the State Park. There is also a lake at the State Park. A good place to enjoy a picnic and not have to contend with a lot of other people. Knob Noster is most famous for the Air Base located there. They have the Stealth Bombers there that fly over Tiger Football field. They also have fighter aircraft that are constant alert to any enemy threats.

We stayed at the campground while visiting the college in Warrensberg. Very nice and quiet, we did not have a chance to view the visitor center or any of the trails. Would stay there again.

Knob Noster has great facilities for kitchen, dining, and play, but the sleeping cabins leave a little to be desired as far as comfort and cleanliness is concerned. If you are going when it is cold, plan on bringing lots of wood to burn in the fireplaces or you'll freeze.

Very quiet, sites were reasonably spaced. I was impressed by the number of bath houses and toilet buildings there were as well as the number of water spigots throughout the campground, for as small as it is. Close to Warrensburg.

Knob Noster is a nice sized park for camping, hiking, mountain biking and picnics. There are half a dozen trails for hiking or mountain biking through rolling hills ranging in length from about a half-mile to a little over seven miles. For campers there are about 40 sites with electric and a couple dozen primitive sites that are well marked. It's a nice weekend getaway place to relax with Mother Nature.

I like all the walking trails around the different campsites and lakes. A great place for a picnic and hiking or walks that are easy or more intense. Great way to learn about the wildflowers and maybe see wildlife too.

The trails for horses are wonderful in this park and recommend you do the 7 mile trail. Local horse folks keep them up well and the hikers/bikers are usually respectful of the horses

We stayed here for 2 nights and would definitely return. The campground has around 70 sites with some reserveable. We arrived on a Friday night and were able to get a site without a reservation (not sure if that would be an option during the summer). We tent camp and the sites are big enough to find an area for your tent. Each site has a picnic table, lantern pole and fire ring. The bath house was clean and had lots of hot water. Laundry is available too. An electric site was $21 per night. There are a couple of different hiking trails, playgrounds, basketball court, picnic shelters and tables scattered around the park. There are a few fishing lakes that were very popular on a sunny afternoon in October. There is a visitors center, but we didn't make it in there to see what was available. We picked up a hiking map at a trailhead. For those who geocache there are a couple in the park too.
