This museum is impressive! There are interactive displays and a Christopher Wren church that was brought from England after the Blitz and rebuilt in Fulton. The church is beautiful and museum has personal items, letters, photos, paintings and gives a complete history of Churchill's life. The museum was staffed by students and they were very helpful and polite. Outside the museum/church was a very large section of the Berlin Wall complete with graffiti. My husband and I spent a couple of hours visiting and did not completely see all that was offered. There is a lovely gift shop as well. This is a must see!

In a small town like Fulton, this is a unique and exquisite museum housed in a centuries-old church which was destroyed in the London Blitz and then brought over, brick by brick, and assembled at the university in town. The museum is world-class, with hands-on, interactive features that tell the story of a man who was among the world's finest, and definitely the most important figure of the 20th century. We laughed at the depictions of his wit, marveled at the deftness of his art, and cried while viewing footage of the destruction and horror of the two world wars and cold war through which he led the free world. Not to be missed.

Very impressed with interactive displays and so much to learn on so many levels! Great for kids and adults. My daughter's college class visited here, and she took me back to share. Fun gift shop and neat church, too. Would go back and take my whole family.

We were surprised to find a large (8 sections) piece of the Berlin Wall outside the museum. Very nice museum with many mementos from different aspects of Churchhill's life-- letters he had written to his parents and wife, paintings ( I did not know he was a painter in addition to a writer, military expert and political leader.) We spent 2.5 hrs there, could have spent longer. The museum is in the basement of a restored Christopher Wren church moved to Fulton in the 1960s-- it had been distroyed in WWII .

You'll learn all this and more in this delightful museum found beneath a church - a Christopher Wren church, no less, re-located and re-built from London!The museum is very interactive and informative; modern and compelling. You will come away with an even greater appreciation for the person of Mr. Churchill. Especially enjoyable for me was the section on his involvement in WWI. Must-see museum.

This is one of the most enjoyable museum experiences I have found here in the Midwest. There is a multitude of photos and memorabilia regarding Winston Churchill and many interesting facts that I didn't know before my visit. The staff there is very helpful. The "relocated/rebuilt" church is extremely interesting as is the sculpture built from pieces of the Berlin wall. We spent approximately 2 hours here and thoroughly enjoyed the visit.

This Sunday Churchill's granddaughter will deliver a major address. She sculpted the Iron Curtain monument that is on site.Gorgeous

Winston Churchill first gave his "Iron Curtain" speech from here. One of the few remaining sections of the Berlin Wall is here and ties in greatly with the museum.

This museum was much better than we anticipated. First it is located in a 17th Century Christopher Wren church that was destroyed in the WWII blitz then moved brick by brick to Fulton, Mo. The church sanctuary is worth stopping to see with its light, airy feeling. The museum is downstairs and includes timelines on Churchill's life along with historical events that occurred during the time the church was in existence.There are numerous photos, letters, and memorabilia of Churchill's to see. There are short films on WWII. There is a video of portions of his famous 1946 speech on the Iron Curtain descending across Central Europe. There are interactive displays as well. The displays are well laid out and have easy to read and informative placards. We we felt that this was exceptionally well done and better than many of the museums we have seen of US Presidents!There are no guides or audios but the displays are explanatory. Give yourself more time than you think you will need, at least two hours! Admission fee is minimal.i think it was $6 for seniors.There was also a very interesting special exhibit on loan from the Smithsonian of mail during war time.

Beautifully displayed memories of how it was, and should never be again. It is located in a pleasant, quaint, small town which was/is the model for the movie that starred Ronald Reagan....."King's Row", a book by Henry Bellaman.

Very interesting- worth going too! A lot of Churchill knowledge! A lot of artifacts, monuments. Easy to find and easy access!

I am pleased to say signed on to be a member of the National Churchhill Memorial. Sir Winston Churchhill was an extraordinary man at a worrisome time in history. I am so proud of our local museum for it's excellence.

Top quality museum with a variety of static and interactive exhibits, plus several short films. The museum is relatively small but packs a punch - I spent 3 hours (I had only planned on 1 hour) and chose to focus on Churchill's early life through the end of WWII and his historic "Iron Curtain" speech in 1946 there in Fulton. I didn't spend much time in the last exhibits covering the Cold War and his personal life. The museum inspired in me a greater appreciation for Churchill as a soldier, journalist and writer, politician and statesman.A congratulatory note to the staff: when the 12-minute WWII video didn't play properly, the staff (a Westminster college student) took great care and effort to get it working for a room full us, including families with children. Truly excellent customer service.A minor note: a few of the static wall displays had text printed on glass that was elegant but in some cases hard to read because the text didn't contrast enough with the background artwork behind the clear glass. I could manage but someone with poor eyesight might have a hard time reading the text.The museum is in the basement under the historic church of St. Mary that was transported from London UK and reconstructed on site in Fulton. The ticket to the Churchill museum includes access to the small English church above. Worth a visit, though for me the focus was the Churchill permanent exhibit.Lastly, next to the museum is another related piece of history - a section of the Berlin Wall - representing so to speak the Iron Curtain that Churchill so famously spoke of in his speech in Fulton.

This exhibit was far more interesting than I anticipated. I was unaware of most of Churchill's life as I never really gave him much thought. Helped me see him in a different light.

We decided to go to the National Churchill Museum this week because of the Art Exhibit that was there on loan from the Navy. It featured art work from the landing on D Day. It was a fabulous exhibit. Had no idea that the National Churchill Museum was such a treasure and contained so much history. It is worth a return trip and another return trip. The walk through history was outstanding. We had previously been to the "Churchill War Room," in London and the museum in London did such an outstanding job of adding to the history we had previously seen.
