We've known since the first time we visited Fence Stile that it was a special place. The energy that the owners reflect into their Winery is so positive. We've enjoyed visiting here for 2 1/2 years when we want a special date day or celebration with friends, so when we decided to get married we knew there was nowhere but here to say I do. But even our wildest dreams we didn't imagine what a perfect day it would be. Opening early for photo ops for us, staying open late so we could relax after the wedding. Allowing us to host our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner there the night before and opening up on a day they were closed. William and Shriti did everything to ensure that our day was perfect, hassle free, & beautiful. He even officiated our wedding for us! Nothing that we asked to be included was declined. Even our engagement pictures were allowed in the vines. No need to rent chairs, they have them available. No need for table dressings - they were perfect. No need to haul in catering tables - they have those too. Not to mention a wide variety of delightful wines that after visiting over 100 Missouri Wineries we deem to be the best in the state. So please consider stopping in here if you have a special occasion to celebrate or are just looking for a day to relax, sip some wine, listen to some music, enjoy a fire pit, or watch a movie in the summer. Thank you guys for all you did to make our wedding day a day to never forget. I wanted to wait to upload one of the professional's pictures to go with this to do the review justice. However the photographer I hired is taking a bit of time to ensure great pics so thought I would share without further delay so people may consider Fence Stile for the holiday celebrations and events! I recently had my wedding reception at Fence Stile in the new larger tasting room. The owners were extremely nice and very accommodating. We were able to book this venue last minute when our other venue fell through with just 10 days until the wedding! The owners worked with us to ensure our day was perfect! I highly recommend this beautiful place for any event you have. The building is warm and inviting with a gorgeous patio. My guests enjoyed the many selections of wine and the laid back atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I recently enjoyed a fun evening at Fence Stile Vineyards & Winery. It was a nice evening to sit around the fire pit and enjoy a glass of wine. William and Shriti always go out of their way to make people feel welcomed. The wine was perfectly chilled

We visited the fence stile winery last August. It is located outside Excelsior Springs, MO. Their wine is still a bit young but quite good, especially the Chardonnay. Our host was very helpful and knowledgeable. The only drawback was the last part of the trip is via a dirt road.

My husband I stopped in here one Sunday afternoon before we planned to stay at the Elms. It was close to the Elms and not hard to find off on a dirt road. We went inside and the owner (I believe a husband and wife) quickly asked us what we'd like to sample and she checked on us several times. We liked one of the whites and sat inside in the small sampling room at one of the tables with some bread and chatted with her. She was very nice and told us they have a lot of volunteers who come out and help pick the grapes. There is a big dog that walks around, very casual and easy going atmosphere.

Fence Stile is a hidden gem outside Excelsior Springs. The many different choices of wine will allow all taste seekers enjoyment. Its out in the country and has a nice patio to sit and relax on while enjoying your glass of wine. I recommend you call ahead to make sure they are open before you drive out there.

This is a great way to get away from the city, enjoy the beautiful scenery and enjoy some great wine while doing it. The owners are so accommodating, knowledgable, and genuinely love what they do. Not only did we just love our first visit we were sold to become wine club members and visit again!

We were very disappointed in pursuing this winery. First, it was difficult to find and the signs advertising the place are so small that if you blink you will miss it. We had a brochure that we got from the Elms stating that the winery was open on Sunday from 11-5. We planned our visit based on this information. Once we finally got there-out in the boonies, down a gravel road,-we arrived at noon and the gates were locked. If Excelsior Springs is going to promote wineries and antique stores as a lure for a weekend get away, somebody needs to get these businesses to be open on weekends. We ended up turning around and driving back to Kansas City because there was nothing to to on Sunday.

this is a country winery with a charming view, great wine, and friendly staff. Have visited several times and continue to be satisified.

This place is really nice. The wine was good and the patio had a nice view. There is a drop off that is not marked on the patio. If I hadn't stopped my friend she would have fallen off the side. There is no rail so you have to be careful. We will be back again.

Very friendly staff. Nice place to sit and sip a bottle of wine during the afternoon. Looking forward to going back.

We live an hour and 10 minutes from Fence Stile Winery, but my husband and I make the long drive several times a year. We love this place, the grounds are perfect for picnics and lawn games and I cannot say enough about the owners of this place. William and Shriti welcome us each time as if we are family. The wine selection is great and the price is average for this area. I would highly recommend stopping by and checking this winery out.
