petoskey farms vineyard & winery

My mom and I stopped at this winery at the recommendation of a friend. The view was spectacular with the trees changing colors. There was plenty of seating outside to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and the view. We had a tasting of their white wines. They were great and with each of us got to keep our tasting glass. The owners are so nice and made great hosts, they made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be returning for wine and the view!

Excellent wine with a great view of beautiful hills and rolling countryside. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable. All grapes are regionally grown.

I had the pleasure of discovering this new winery outside of Petoskey this week. I met friends for a wine tasting and was thrilled to find this young couple so far ahead of the wine making curve! Delicious varieties. They have a cheese and grape plate, and crackers to cleanse the palate in between samples. The location, and building inside and out are immaculate, warm, and inviting. Of course I purchased my favorite white wine to take home. (Petoskey White). Be sure to include this winery on your N. MI. Wine Trail tour, or just go here. You won't be disappointed, and I admit I am a wine snob.

This is a great new winery that sits up on a hill. The view is beautiful in every direction and you can sit out on their porch to enjoy the wine. I had a tasting so sampled them all, they are all very good but I especially enjoyed the Apricot which is really made from apricots! also the Petoskey Red, Reisling, Petoskey White, Chardonnay are all very good. I found some of the local Petoskey stones while visiting the area and I love that they are featured on their wine bottles. They sell the stones as well as beautiful jewelry made from them. The inside of the tasting room is very pretty with great details.

As you sit on the porch & enjoy a tasty glass of wine you can take in the sites of the rolling hills and vineyard. The service is top notch with a professional family feel. I would highly recommend stepping out of the city to enjoy this little gem! The wine is wonderful. You won't regret the trip. I can't wait to come back!
