Decent course with lots of evaluation changes , some water and challenge at good Value. Club house, and carts adequate - burgers good , beer cold and breakfast deal well worth the $3!Note: Hole 10 is best played as a Par 3 from 175 yards at top of hill. The "signature hole " is more a hazard with small landing areas for an up hill tee shot - high probablity of a lost ball or 3 in the group leading to slow play or a blind second shot as a lay up .Save the pain and drive to the top - 175 yards still a interesting par 3 with a very difficult green - watch the read ! make course a par 71 . Overall a fav in Oxford/lake Orion Michigan area.

A little difficult to find but well worth the effort. Great mix of rolling hills, trees and water. Northern Michigan views. Quite challenging but a good score is possible. If you are an average golfer ask the starter which tees to play. We used to play the Blue tees but we now play one set shorter (Green?). Losing our ego was tough but we now have considerably more fun. We have a lot more chances to convert our birdies (ego reinstated). Very popular course. Good rates. Good restaurant. Usually a deal for a beer and hamburger or chicken burger. Don't worry about where to hit your tee shot on #18. There is a valley between the tee and green but shots to the green can be made from any location. Green is very fast as it slopes towards the clubhouse. Deals can be found on various sites. A must play.

I have played this course twice a year for the past 7 years with Beach Tour Golf , a senior group of 144 golfers on a scramble format . The course is excellent and extremely well kept, the service from the time you pull up and they grab your bag till they deliver it back to the car with CLEANED clubs is outstanding. The buffet breakfast was amazing and the lunch after was great especially cause they handled 144 Hungary people very quickly . The staff here are extremely well trained and I was impressed with the whole day here.THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO GOLF !!!

I have worked 18 seasons at "The Ridge" mowing fairways. Fun and fair to golfers of all skill levels. I had an Eagle on hole number 10, the signature hole. How fun and enjoyable.

This is one of the most beautiful golf courses in Oxford. We play on a couples league here. It has a beautiful club house and the course is always well maintained. We also got married here in 2009! Can't say enough good things about it.

played here last week after a heavy rainfall so it was cart path only. all things considered was very enjoyable. I played the back tees while my spouse enjoyed the up front tees which were fair. Will be back as the staff was pleasant and over all was a great day.

Grounds were in good shape, but holes 10 and 17 are not fair test of a golfers ability. Poorly designed.Did enjoy the ominous names for each hole though;-)

Since they scaled back from its original layout (quite some years ago) this is a very nice play to golf. There are quite a few fairways that do get water logged and do not drain well. You need to play the course and place your shots. #11, the signature hole needs some help. I feel good if I shoot a birdie. The green will NOT read the way you think. Unfortunately, many of the pin placements have the cup founded up so it really isn't a fair drop. Nice course; varied holes.

This is definitely a nice course and the tee, fairway, and greens conditions were awesome the day we played. It is a demanding course that requires you to think before you swing, but it is also fair and really fun to play. We played the Black Tees at 6288 yards and the par 5's on the front were reachable in 2 (Bird on 3!). The Devil's Hole #10 is definity cool and unlike any hole I have played. The Greens Fees are reasonable for this level of course, and it is well worth the time to play here.

The golf course is IDIOTIC... unless you like hitting your 5 iron for the first 2 shots on a par 5? The restaurant is also not very good.

What a beautiful golf course, especially in the fall with sweeping views over the surrounding countryside. We always see wildlife - especially deer and the sandhill cranes. A good course for couples - the womens tees really help to level things out!
