This is an awesome place for a walk in the woods. There are wide paths and smaller windy paths, so you can take your pick. I prefer the winding paths that are only big enough to walk on single file. Our dog LOVES to walk for hours off leash here. Many dogs walk here off leash so it isn't the best option if your dog is unfriendly with other dogs. I've walked here every season and it never disappoints!

Biking, hiking, strolling or running, the terrain varies. Winter offers cross country skiing, snowshoeing and sledding. There is also a chalet for rent for different occasions, i.e. birthday parties, showers...

Loved taking long walks through the City Forest…peaceful and serene. Bring your dog if you have one with you. He or she will love it!!

While there a still a few parts of the park that need repair, they have done a great job of marking the trails. There are "public" trails and trails for mountain bikes. This is also a great park for dogs. Most people have their dogs off leash and no one seems to mind.

Awesome lit sled hill, snow maker on property, warming chalet with hot cocoa, popcorn and other snacks. Toboggan run with sled rentals, cross country ski rentals, skate rink, bonfire pit. Great winter fun!

Great place for every season and the best part -----it is free. Go in the winter and slide on the big hill but be sure and bring your own equipment. Skate on the pond in front of the warming house and remember your money so you can sit by the roaring fire and warm up with hot coco. In the spring walk the trails and watch the forest come to life. All summer long you will find people hiking on the trails and enjoying being in the "woods". Fall is a beautiful time to see the colors as the trees turn Many activities are held at City Forest so check for a schedule and join in the fun. Our family loves to mountain bike the trails and it is a must due on every visit they make to Midland.

They have trails to walk on, ski on or ride your bike on. They have a sledding hill, tobbagan run, haunted forest, and bike races. Always something going on.

Just walked through City Forest for 2 hours today - it is beautiful, lots of well marked trails and you can walk/ride a bike, bring your own horse. In the winter you can cross country ski, snow shoe, go down their toboggan run and enjoy a hot cup of chocolate by the fire at their chalet. They rent cross country skis and they also have a skating rink
