The market is nicely set close to several of Midland's attractions, including the Tridge, rail trail, the H hotel and a water park for kids. It is a pleasant, pleasant place. Here's why I rate it as "average:"-Understandably, much of the produce offered early in the season and probably through much of June is NOT grown locally nor by the "farmers" selling it. Instead, it comes from wholesale markets. As such, I see no advantage to buying it there set that time compared to a supermarket-It interprets "farmer" loosely. Indeed, a lot of homegrown produce is available from July forward but too much is not food: Candles, soaps and such. You can buy baked goods (mostly large-scale operations, food from carts, fresh flowers and plants) - Parking is awful and sadly, it is expanding into the parking lot-If you like crowds, this is the place to be especially in peak summer and autumn months between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. Saturdays; much less so Wednesday. It is slow going within the ring of the outdoor structure. I am uncomfortable in such congested areas- you'll find prices to be consistent on any given market day. Corn is X$ per unit, ditto for tomatoes; it'd is like the "farmers" got together the night before and decided what is to be chargedIn sum I think it's okay; not great for the reasons mentioned. Many summer market days I opt to get my produce from local markets where parking and crowds are easier. If I want something specific -- and there are some amazing vendors, then I'll visit and seek them out.

I shop Farmers Markets all summer, and this one is set up in the round and easily to shop. It has items other than farm grown. The prices are excellent for vegetables, a bit cheaper than other Farmers Markets that I have visited. Love the flowers. Vendors/Farmers are wonderful people.

This is one of the most scenic farmer's market locations I've been to. It is located next to the Midland "Tridge", behind the "H Hotel", at the South end of Ashman Street. The Midland Farmer's Market has seasonal, locally grown, produce, plants, and food goods.I really like the layout of this market. It is arranged in a circle, so that you never have to walk too far to visit any particular vendor. The items sold here, are of good quality, and are reasonably priced.
