We absolutely love this store! So many different things for so many different people. Love the feel and the philosophy... The owner gift wrapped SIX separate items for us - free of charge! We will be sure to go back every single time we're in Manistique. Even my husband loved wandering around, shopping for an hour. There's something for everyone and the service could not be better. We visited the Mustard Seed because of good reviews on Trip Advisor, but we were really not impressed. The staff was NOT very friendly or helpful, and the merchandise rather the same as in most gift shops in the area.

Best candy--Abdallah--and a plethora of gifts, jewelry, souvenirs or works by local/regional artists of national repute. Drink coffee with locals, cottagers, tourists; choose from a great selection of bestsellers or Michigan lore written for all age levels. A single stop is not enough! Very friendly staff includes some of the local artists. Very gemutlich, not a highway tourist trap!

This place is full of beautiful and unique treasures, even an art gallery in the loft! The ladies are completely welcoming- you want to spend some time taking in all the different pieces. Even the stands are unique! Excellent atmosphere!
