They have a wonderful modern campground. Great paved trails to walk or ride bikes, lots of playgrounds. The ponds are fun to fish and explore. The rates are great.

The County does a good job of keeping this park up. It is worth the visit if you are in the area. The area is nice and wooded. It would be a nice area to go hiking in.

This County Park is close to town but helps you relax and feel miles away. There are walking paths, fishing, swimming, camping, playgrounds and the amenities are wonderful. There are two sections to the park, across Westnedge Avenue from one another. I believe the other side is mostly for picnics, etc. Very clean and well-maintained.

1st time to Markin Glen Park - Church picnic. Perfect place for an event like that. Plenty of room to set up food tables, places for people to eat, large area for games and even room for a bouncy castle. There is a fee to enter and the bathrooms are clean and user friendly.

This is a very well-designed and well maintained facility. They have a very nice swimming beach on one of the two lakes, and fishing for bass and sunfish is good in both of the lakes. There's a pair of swans that mate and nest here every year, and add to the beauty of the lakes. The campsites are all fully improved, with concrete pads and full hookups. Very clean facilities and amenities.

This was a great park. Everything was clean and the staff was nice. The trees in the campground might be small yet but it really wasn't a problem. The beach was nice and the fishing was good. Nice trails to walk or ride a bike. We will definitely be back.

Loved this park.Only complaint is a locked gate made access to KRVT harder that it should have been for our bike rides while camped at the campground.There was a large variety of wildlife here and easy fishing access at the lakes.Nice walkway around the grounds with facilities that were in great shape.Employees were friendly but could have been more knowledgeable about the park and surrounding areas.

was there in summer on a hot night. Kids seemed to have fun splashing around. I was unsure of the water quality so didn't jump in ? was there in winter for a sports event, and it was great fun.

New to the area we went several times this summer when we wanted a place to swim. It was pretty clean. No complaints there. The water was absolutely freezing, but that was also nice on a hot day. We had considered possibly camping there overnight for fun, but then we looked at the camping sites.... that's why I couldn't give the park an excellent. The camping site area basically looks like a parking lot. It really could have used some trees. It didn't look like a place where I would want to camp.

Camped here several times-full hookups, clean bathrooms, and reasonable prices. For recreation: Tennis courts, bike trails, swimming, and sandy beach. Requires moderate admission for day visit.

small park with a small lake, you could swim on one side and fish on the other, it also had a walking trail, play area and an RV area
