This course is very pretty, and it's challenging. It's spread out over hundreds of acres. Not a course where you're simply going back and forth. You golf over lakes, through woods, near marshes, etc. The scenery is really great here. I suggest twilight and fall golfing. Best rates, and the course looks amazing in the fall. This is a must visit for any golf fan!Moderate prices, clean course, friendly staff and good upkeep on equipment. Play it!

Although Jackson has many nice courses, this is the best and therefore the most expensive. It is very well maintained with lush fairways and plush greens for the most part. The day we played, I will say the tee boxes were a bit chopped up from unrepaired divots. Most greens are large and can have many very challenging pin placements. The degree of difficulty changes drastically from the front to the back. As a senior female, I usually play fairly well on the front but the back kicks my butt. There is one hole will a long carry over weeds that I can never quite make so sometimes I just take a penalty and save a ball. There is a huge par 5 that many men struggle with. It is a very scenic course and sometimes wildlife can be seen. You will return to the clubhouse on the turn. It surprises me that a course of this caliber has porta johns on the course but I do have to say they are very clean when I have had to use them. Check golf now.com for discount tee times.

The Grande is one of the finer courses I have played. While everything about the course is quite nice, I am especially complimentary of the design and even more so for the tee box layout and positioning. Most courses, even fine courses, just line up the boxes to make the hole longer. At the Grande, the boxes are clearly designed and positioned to make the hole different when using the different locations. Their signature hole has 5 (at least) tee boxes and each one makes the hole feel completely different. It is one of my favorite holes ever.It is a demanding course but not crushing so. My only less than stellar comment is the clubhouse facilities are not as large as many other courses. I don't care, I'm there to golf.Great course.

I rate this as one of the best courses I have ever played. A real challenge with senior rates very competitive. You have sand, water, hills and distance.

Very pretty and well maintained. For a senior women, the front is easier than the back. There is a monster par 5 on the back. We play there a couple times a year, usually with specials though. Being the top course, they get the top prices.

I drive over an hour to play this course at least once a month. I have even considered buying a membership, 1100.00 with cart please what a deal. Beautiful course all around ,very playable except maybe if you can:t get off the tee. Only complaint the trailor park behind one of the par three:s. The club house is kinda of small and basic, who cares I am there for the golf. Don"t miss this great course.

The course if fantastic! It has its own way of challenging each golfer with its wide open design. The easiest holes become the hardest. Enjoy the deep woods location and serenity this course offers. Most everyone agrees that the clubhouse could be upgraded.

Fantastic golf course. Every hole presented a different challange but a very true test of golf. Being from North Carolina, I found the price to be a bargain at $56. I will be playing this course every chance I get when I am in Jackson visiting the in-laws!

The Grande Golf Club has lots of character. Every hole is different including a green on #13 that is truely unique. The course also includes huge greens with many putts over 100 feet. They also have fairways much wider than 100 yards. The clubhouse is very small, which provides a great value. Practice area is super.Pictures and other information at:(---)

This is by far the best layout of any course that I have played in Southern Michigan. It is very economically priced (less than 55 dollars). And has great practice facilities. It is a must play if you are visiting the area.
