I came for carry-out for their fish fry. It was good, but I thought it was expensive and only offer three options: fish & chips, shrimp, or tilapia. You could only get a type of potato with your meal, soup/salad, and bread. I wanted more options like mac and cheese, hush puppies, pierogies, etc. The fish was good, but they shorted out on options.

Chemung hosted my wedding reception. They were absolutely AMAZING! Pam was awesome and so helpful with the wedding planning process and was extremely patient with both my husband and myself! Such a beautiful overlooked location that is seriously such a bargain!

Wedding Venue - Beautiful location, fantastic food, wonderful service, excellent price. 2 problems that kept them from 5 stars.1) There is not a dressing area. You must use the locker rooms. Golfers coming in to use the bathrooms, dirt off their shoes. Space is limited and then add a dozen golfers. Frustrating. Get dressed somewhere else.2) Again golfers crashing the wedding...free drinks and there was a Bachelor/Golf Party going on at the same time. Drunk golfers. At some time during the night someone tore the Mens and Womens signs off the bathroom doors and we were responsible for replacing them. Was it one of the invited guests or a crasher?

The golf course is well taken care of and some holes are a bit of a challenge. The restaurant serves fairly good food.

Love their ladies nights. Buffet dinner with all the wine and beer you can drink for $25 per person. Includes door prize ticket. Only ladies are allowed. Food is good and the service is excellent. I have also had lunch here in the summer and the portions are large and very tasty. Great staff and service.

This is a beautiful golf course in Howell. It is challenging with hills, water and a well designed layout. Very mature with an up-north feel, as it was opened in 1927. Rates are really reasonable here considering the high level of golf you get. Very small pro shop and a nice grill/restaurant area with a limited but good menu that includes sandwiches, soup and salads. It also has a full bar.
