Located in Flint's College and Cultural Center. Website is: http://www.sloanlongway.org/buick-gallery. The Buick Automotive Gallery has some of GM's great concept cars on display Well worth a visit!

There was only space for about 20 cars when we visited. The display only lasted one more day before being closed for 1-2 wks for a new exhibit to be placed. We saw Muscle cars from the 60's & 70's and they sure brought back some memories. These cars were immaculate, and the pride of some multiple collectors. Very small but worth the trip. Best to call to see if the Gallery is closed for updating of a new exhibit.

This is a package deal along with the Sloan Museum ticket. Very inexpensive and a good history lesson. Great for car buffs.

This was a fun walk through museum of the history of Buicks including several proto-types and a tank destroyer. The real fun in this museum was the research that Heather assisted us with and the restoration shop discussion with Jacob,.

The vintage cars were fabulous, and it was fun to walk around and read the history of each one. Also included were articles about the history of Flint. We could have gotten a personal tour, but did not do so this time. There were just the two of us, and it was great just taking our time looking and reading about each vehicle.

Very limited in size, however, some very rare vehicles in there. Also has a historical research section in the back.

When you visit the Sloan Museum in the Flint Cultural center, your admission to the Sloan also gets you into the Buick gallery a couple blocks to the east... well worth a visit. The Sloan museum, apart form the Buick gallery, has traveling feature exhibits plus historic galleries about Flint's past and a few historic cars.Flint, being the "Vehicle City", deserves a museum focused on just the vehicular history of the area, and it has an excellant one in the Buick gallery. Don't let the name fool you... there are other brands of cars (and other types of vehicles) to see here. There are several one-of-a-kind cars you will see only here, including GM prototypes and auto show concept cars. The Buick gallery has it's own restoration workshop where rare vehicles are restored from the frame up. You can watch the progress through the viewing windows at the rear of the gallery.
